  Excellent Covid Measures

  Great location for the airport or parking at the nearby care park. But more importantly the Covid measures were first class and unobtrusive. Staff were friendly but stayed socially distanced. Excellent meal deal for £25 and its a long long time since I had a breakfast as good as we had at the adjacent pub.

  Stayed a number of times and will again

  I was first allocated a room on 1st floor near staircase and I could hear automatic doors to main entrance opening and shutting constantly, being an insomniac, that would drive me crazy. I went to reception and asked for a room change. He did it straight away. I had a room further down the corridor. The hotel wasn't full but quite a number of people were there. The beds are comfy and the room was clean. The following morning, the waitress in breakfast area said she remembered me from last year. That was nice. I love the vegan sausages for breakfast. I will def stay again.

  Excellent Customer Service

  We arrived on the 26th Sept late evening after flying into Manchester. Our case had been lost and so we didn't have some essentials for our stay. The receptionist was more than helpful providing us with toothbrushes etc and directing us to a local shop that was still open. We went to our room which was great but as we were were about to leave came across a few other residents in the neighbouring rooms who were obviously a little loud, tipsy and brought a certain waft of a certain type of cigarette along with them. Not ideal for a good nights rest. I asked the receptionist if we could change room and once again she was more than helpful and understanding and changed us to a very quiet part of the hotel. She also said that she would make other hotel staff aware of the other guests through the evening to make sure there were no problems. She really went above and beyond the call of duty and I wish I had her name to make Premier Inn aware of how good she is!!

  lovely food

  We had a lovely meal here, the cheese and onion pie was amazing. The food is lovely homemade food, all served very fresh and hot. We will be back to try again soon. Thank you for a lovely meal.. Clare

  I need sleep!!

  I'm checking out today I'm still here and have huge bags under my eyes. First the negative, so I can end on the positive as theres only 1 real negative. The room is a little tired and old but its clean so not a problem really. What is a problem is that you can hear everything in the rooms around you, its not good. Last night at midnight a group of people came in, with children and woke me as they were loud entering to their rooms, they then proceeded for THREE and a half hours to laugh talk really loud banging on doors in and out of each others rooms oh my goodness it was so loud. I shouted out the door to shut up but this was ignored. No phone in room which is usual for PI so I called the hotel number and the receptionist was great (see below) he promised he would sort it out. Half hour later still noise banging etc. I had to call again, this time it stopped. I am absoloutely exhausted as then at 7:30am after 4 hours sleep I could hear other people moving chatting banging around in their rooms which awoke me and now I cant go back to sleep I have to drive back to London today and I will need a ton of coffee to keep me awake. The positives are the staff with a very special mention to Lisa. She was so helpful and so nice going out of her way for me. Due to the obvious restrictions there is no food open here, so I ordered food in. I received a text to say food should be with me soon, I went to open my door and Lisa was there, she brought my take away up to me. Along with allowing me a 1 hour extra on my checkout as I need to pick my daughter up from hospital. She was just so lovely and all of the staff I have found to be the same very helpful and friendly. Also as the hotel is directly under the flight path I didnt hear 1 go overhead in my room at all. Which is great, meaning the double glazing is doing its job, but they need to sound proof their rooms!
