Excellent! This is one of the older Premier Inns but that doesnt detract from the service provided. Its actually quite refreshing to get a key instead of a card! The place is spotlessly clean and all anti-covid practises are observed. When I booked, I was initially a bit worried about the noise from the nearby very busy main road. As it turned out the sound insulation on the windows was amazing!!! Well done Premier Inns. You always know what you get but this one was a cut above. Thank you.

Great valueJust an overnight stay before a visit to the Nation Arboretum. Covid friendly place and was impressed by the systems in place. Needed extra pillows which were delivered to our room in a bag and left at the door. More milk was given in a bag. Felt very safe. Spotlessly clean throughout. People on here knock the pub next door. We had dinner and breakfast there and it was excellent. Oh and I had the best nights sleep in ages, the bed, bedding and pillows were quality.

Terrible place, staff polite thoughSorry to say but that was the worst nights sleep should I say lack of sleep my husband and I have ever had, very uncomfortable bed which seemed to slope with your head down and feet up, we both had terrible back ache, we ended up leaving about 6.30am as we felt terrible. The room was very tired looking, a sad dirty stained sofa and the room smelt fusty. The outside of the building was littered with conkers from the horsechestnut trees which could have been swept up a bit so you didn't nearly break your ankles going into the entrance. We actually drive past the place as you couldn't see the sign until too late as it was hidden by a tree. The staff were very polite and welcoming but when mentioning what a bad night we had because of the bed we were told everyone Dave's about the hypno beds and our concerns would be passed on, so much for a guaranteed good night sleep.

Overnight StayQuick one night stay as we were on our way to take part in Britain's Strongest Woman the following day. It's always a gamble booking a hotel before a competition, as we do need somewhere quiet to get a good night sleep and somewhere to eat. This couldn't have been more perfect, check was painless, we were asking about booking for food in the Grene King pub next door, which we had already done. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable, had a great night's sleep, and won the competition..... Should we need to visit again we will certainly look to book here

A bit rough around the edges but,,,,,,,,I checked the reviews after I booked and was tempted to cancel. However to my relief its actually quite a nice place. Yes its seem better days and its dated but it was clean, comfortable and I had a nice sleep. There is nothing much within walking distance and it's off a busy road. There is a pub on site and ample parking.
