  excellent customer service

  I was very impressed with the standard, cleanliness and quality of the rooms. Anthony - night staff was absolutely fantastic, went the extra mile the make our stay as comfortable both in the evening and the first thing in the morning. He was very friendly and very helpful. This was our first stay and would definitely come back again and highly recommend the hotel.

  Excellent customer service and immaculate room

  We stayed at Premier Inn after a negative experience in Travelodge Rugeley and it was a lovely experience from start to finish. We booked and then 20 minutes later showed up, the room was ready, we were greeted by very friendly and lovely staff. Everywhere was clean and tidy, the room was in great condition and had everything we needed. It's in a great location and there are many lovely eateries nearby for dinner. I would definitely stay here again

  Wonderful break during these ghastley covid times.

  The room was spacious and well equipped.Any thing we asked fo,staff were only too willing to help .it was a little cool on our 1st night they helped with the heating. We needed more tea , coffee etc all provided on request. No room servicing during covid but it was made clear we could ask for anything. Result a great break for myself and a friend, rpoom so big we were able to socailly distance with ease . We chose a local break and we had a great timre !

  Absolutely shocking place to stay!

  Stayed for work purpose for couple of weeks already, ppl cannot remember what time I`m coming for breakfast and need to remind twice a day. You can have breakfast in the morning and staff touching your plate and cup of tea in the morning and cutlery it`s nothing wrong with it and no any issues with COVID, BUT when u ask them for plate or fork, they cannot provide due to covid, it`s seems covid works only at evenings but then again you can order dinner into room and it won`t bee issue. No any room service what so ever, bin need to change urself, nobody clean rooms even when i asked, apparently they forgotten but offer we other room because staff not aloud to come in for some many hours into room after i left (even I1`m out for more than 12h for work a day), which is ok, BUT then again, they swapped me a room for other one, where someone has checked out at 11am and for 14pm my room was ready to check in, how does it works not sure and nobody couldn`t explain me too, and reception were saying we are completely fully booked. so one day you need to take all ur staff out to recheck if i want room to be cleanned and other day you can leave your staff in the toilet ;locked and staff will walk in and clean it with no problem. how those rulls are working not sure. I pay for breakfast which i never get one due to early start, but when i ask for breakfast box i need to pay additional 2.99 pound to get a box, it`s nonsense!!! Found hairs on my bedding sheets and dirty towels offer me a breakfast which I already had, asked for better wifi, been told they cannot do it, payed for better wifi, and doesn`t work, reception said they cannot refund me because it`s not hotel fault! ground floor and 1st floor always no network and very wee signal, reception saying it`s some road works, how does it affecting not sure!

  One night stay during Covid 19

  Great location in centre of Lichfield, minutes walk from shops, restaurants and cathedral. Only problem is during "lock down 2" very little is open! Unlike many Premier Inns there is no on site, free parking. There is however a multi story very near by at a cost of £4.30 a day. Covid guidelines very well adhered to and staff were friendly. Of 79 rooms only 10 were booked the night I stayed. Again unlike many other Premier Inn at this time they did have a limited food and drink menu (see picture attached). Likely to go back when times are better and look round the city properly!
