Excellent as alwaysWe stayed for three nights, big clean room new things put in place for Covid but the team are as welcoming and pleasant as always, no one will now enter your room while your there if you need anything you can ask at reception and its delivered to your room, we had a few meals at the mill pub and they were again very welcoming, second time staying at this hotel and highly recommend it, the town is just a twenty minute walk and the zoo is only a six minute drive away

Chester breakSpent three nights in this very clean, friendly and accommodating Premier Inn. Cheerful Reception staff, free parking on site and Mill at Upton right next door. No breakfast available but breakfast boxes available or Morrisons nearby and a lovely bakers, Chatwins where you can get hot food or rolls for lunch. There is also a Bargain Booze if you want to have a drink in your room. We had our evening meals in The Mill which were very nice and good value. Due to Covid restrictions you need to book ahead as space is needed between each table and it is a popular pub for residents and locals. We walked into Chester itself, approximately half an hours walk but there was lots of available parking if you choose to drive. Wouldnt hesitate to visit again as Chester and the surrounding area is well worth a visit.

Another great Premier InnArrived after a visit to Chester zoo and found the staff to be very helpful and friendly with the room very clean and well organised with all corvid 19 procedures being followed. In the evening had a really enjoyable meal at the adjacent pub/restaurant (The Mill at Upton). Would recommend this hotel highly.

Great Premier INnVisited Chester for a weekend with my daughter. Very clean and comfortable, friendly staff. Left kindle in room and they posted it back to me free of charge. Was only a few minutes drive from Chester Zoo and The city centre. And right next to a train station. Also has a large car park with free parking.

Ruined the end of my hoildayI use premier inn quite often and found this hotel to be totally lacking. For a so called premier room is was nothing premier about it. Its your bog standard room nothing that you wouldn't get in a normal premier in hotel. So do not think your paying for extra service you may as well go the the central ones and it be cheaper. The bathroom you could barely turn around in with a shower you couldn't access unless the door was fully closed. The bed was terrible both me and my husband had very bad backs. My husband has sleep apnoea and requires a mask to sleep and breath the room has only two plug sockets near the tv nothing next to the bed, So we had to go out and buy an extension lead so my husband could breath at night. The walls are very thin as well every time some one passed down the corridor or opened a door down the corridor it could be heard in the room. I will say that the staff was very very nice except for the lady in the back room coughing her guts up that did not fill me with joy. when we first entered. All other times they where brilliant understanding and accommodating when needed. It is very close to the zoo but its less then 2 miles to zoo and less than 2 miles to Chester city. There is also a morrisons next door for food and petrol.
