  We still love it

  We love returning here and we cant really add to what we have said before over the years that we have been coming here. We are envious of those that live a few hours drive away, because if we did we would be here for short breaks very often. We either fly or like this year we drove from the UK, about 800 miles (1300Km) each way and of course we know that each room has an underground parking space. The Hotel is becoming more popular with Brits due to the increase in reviews and articles in UK press and magazines, which is obviously good for the hotel, (although we prefer places with few or no Brits!) When we first came English wasnt spoken much, but now most, if not all staff use it. The owners (Family) are very involved in the running of the hotel. We find it odd that others may question some of the way things are done or comment on the menu, we find it extensive and of a high quality. We love it still and have pre-booked for next year too.

  Fabulous Hotel

  We stayed at the Preidlhof in early July and had a fabulous time! A big plus for us is that this is an adults only hotel which creates a calm atmosphere throughout the hotel, we stayed in a lovely modern room with an outside bed and jacuzzi on the terrace. The many spa facilties in the spa tower are immaculate, with a plentiful supply of towels and refreshments. The food quality and choice is first class, we particularly enjoyed the fresh pasta at lunchtime and the huge selection of cakes.....the service in the restaurant was perfect. We took advantage of using the hotels E- bikes for exploring the many dedicated cycle paths in the area. We have been to many wellness hotels in the Alps and it never ceases to amaze us that despite promoting a wellness culture smoking is allowed on outside terrace areas where guests can eat and drink....it is very uncomfortable and unhealthy for us non smokers to enhale other people's passive smoke, this is particularly frustrating at the Preidlhof as the terraces are large and beautiful and therefore could easily be segregated into separate areas. That said we had a wonderful holiday and have booked to return next year

  Great stay at a great hotel

  The Preidlhof is a great hotel. We stayed for four nights. The staff were warm and welcoming from beginning to end. Food choice and service excellent. Dietary needs well catered for, with the menu marked up each day to show changes they could make to accommodate food allergies - special mention to Anna, Simon and Fabian. Spa treatments were very good. Hannah and Romana did a fantastic job. Good choice of treatments. Marco and Patrick provided great service and local knowledge in the bar. The spa tower offers a wide choice of spaces to relax and saunas and aufgauss 3-4 times per day..Micheala turns the infusions into an art form. The entire property was spotlessly clean. Our room was great - comfortable bed, large shower, beautiful mountain views. Weve already re-booked for 2020.

  Great Hotel close to Meran, adults only

  We have stayed here twice. This 5 star resort is an intimate hotel, situated close to Meran surrounded by apple orchards and mountains. It's refreshing to see couples enjoiny spending time together at this adults only hotel, mobile phones tucked discreetly away. Exploring the Spa Tower, pools and fitness center in peace and quiet in the hotel grounds was relaxing. Although the hotel appears very big, we did not have the feeling of it beeing busy at all, although the restaurant was full in the evenings. Breakfast and dinner are served in the lovely dining room, the breakfast buffet exceptional and dinner accompanied with an excellent selection of wines. The matress in our room was very hard, after a quick call with housekeeping it was exchanged during our dinner. The outdoor bed on the balcony was prepared for us also, this is somethin very special and highly recommendable! A short walk into Naturns to visit the weekly market means you don't really need a car. A must see is Meran, lots of things to see and do. The surroundings offer many hikes and outings but we actually enjoiyed staying "in", using the spa area and walking around the village.

  Perfect

  From the very first to the very last minute we enjoyed our stay. A very friendly welcome,a fantastic 'Me and You' suite, fabulous dinners, lunches and breakfast. Lovely indoor and outdoor pools. The hotel thought of every detail, of every need... This is one of the few hotels we will certainly return to. It is expensive but is is worth every euro !
