  beautiful but...

  beautiful hotel and area, very nice staff, good food, nice pool... but...outdated rooms, no AC (to at least fight humidity in the rooms), limited English, limited to no wifi (free), and really not good housekeeping

  Very disappointed with quality of room, service, and beds

  After having booked a 1 night stay at this hotel, I arrived to get 2 single beds rather than 1. I was informed that all rooms have 2 beds even though they are sold as rooms with 1 bed. Even large chain hotels have 'bridges' they use to join beds and instead I got 2 single beds clipped together with a big hole in the middle. The service staff seemed surprised when I even tried to talk to them about this. They have limited ability in English, and luckily I speak German. The bathrooms look old, with a little refreshing done recently, and the price seems high for you get. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

  A hidden gem

  Stunning location off the beaten path. Explore miles and miles of lakes & canals during the day, then relax in the hotel's luxurious spa. The rooms are spacious & very well maintained. The only thing missing was a kettle in the room.

  Beautiful location but way too hot

  Lovely harbor setup....book one of the little villas on the marina, they are beautiful! But theres no aircon nor fans anywhere in the hotel which means its very hot. We opened our doors craving some oxygen but as there are no mosquito screens on the windows, and the hotel is located on a lake with forest behind, we got bitten alive. We did not sleep for three nights as it was just too hot. So, Id like to go back during autumn, winter or spring but not during a hot summer unless the hotel invests in aircon. We all returned home wrecked and all suffering from heat exhaustion after sleeping in a damn hot room.

  Very nice hotel, perfect services, air conditioning missing

  This hotel is charming, helpful staff, nice view, perfect food and services. One thing missed to be 100% satisfied, and it was missing air condition in upper floor. We had superior room with mezonet sleeping and it was not possible to sleep on upper mezonet floor, so we had to put our mattresses to the first floor room and sleep on floor to survive the night. I would come back but check the type of the room first and if it is too hot, I would recommend not to take rooms under the roof, even if they should be more comfortable and upper class.
