  give me a break! calling this a spa is hilarious very thin walls old fassion air conditioner and an old tv set that has just few brazilian channels is what you can expect of this hotel/motel. small swimming pool and poor gym. Good thing is the proximity of the highway that let you stay without having to face the traffic of the city.

  location is everything

  Lets be honest, Vitoria da Conquista is not a tourist or spa destination. It is on the main road from Bahia to Rio. Thus the Pousada located on the highest point on the north of the city is ideally located for the tired driver who started the day in one of the idyllic towns along the estrada de coco like Praia do Forte or Imbasai etc and headed to Rio, Belo Horizonte or Sao Paulo. You have already suffered the confusion that is Salvador and are happy to have survived one of the most congested routes in Brasil the Br 116 where large transports out number cars by a factor of 5 or 6. That is why this pousada is such a good choice right on the road with a big sign, the good restaurant is ready all day when you arrive, no need to scope out the limited attractions of the city, have a swim, exercise if you want and fall into a clean bed. Ample breakfast in the morning and you are on your way no fuss. The architecture is dated North American family style 1960s and may very well have been a "spa" like environment when the pousada opened. Now a-days forget "spa " and think good meal, good wine, good rest before another long drive tomorrow.

  Quiet place for the business traveler or family in Vitoria da Conquista

  It was only one night but very quiet and pleasant. Thoughtful receptionists, service in the restaurant scored top marks and breakfast very good. The site is a spa must be nice to be with family has several places for children to play. The large rooms all in the ground floor are somewhat old and need maintenance in painting and decorating but the hot water runs fast and good bed and was very clean. Internet link worked fine. Is adjacent to the Highway BR 116 KM 857, called Rio-Bahia that goes to Jequie / BA so who comes to the airport is 15 minutes drive from Vitoria da Conquista like that and work in the region or in the works of the East West Rail is a good idea.

  Good staying

  Rooms are spacious and clean. There is a parking area in front of each one. Breakfast is good. Internet is free, but doesnt work sometimes. Hotel is a little far from downtown. We have to use the car. There are just plugs to charging equipment in the room.
