  Excellent balance for both kids and parents

  It is our second year in a row (summer holiday) and we are very happy of the hospitality of the Wachtler family and of the overall family experience. The balance between kids-friendly environment, wellness center, unique location and well designed Chalets makes this one our very favorite spot in South Tyrol.

  Super

  Perfect place for kids and parents! Nice and helpful staff! Quiet and large rooms. Also the dinner and breakfast was very good. The only thing we missed was a snack in the afternoon. For the rest everything was great and even if the hotel is quite big you feel like being in a small family business. Both Kids (1 and 4 years) had fun and we got to relax! would return tomorrow!

  Excellent pre-Christmas stay

  The hotel didnt disappoint, as always, because it wasnt our first time here. Breakfast was delicious and had wide variety of food. The staff was very helpful and caring during the meals as well as other matters. Dinners were also great, every day was inspired by something else. Every room is equipped with a hotel tablet by which you can book a dinner, wellness treatments and check useful things about the area. The only thing that could be improved, is the temperature in the hallway between the hotel and the chalets. It was a little too cold especially when you were headed to the wellness area only in a negligee. The temperature inside the chalet also could be a little higher during the night. Overall a great experience that will definitely be repeated.

  Fantastic holiday

  I spent a fantastic holiday with my nephews. I really enjoyed the lovely place, delicious service and dinners and the facilities too. I really thank all the staff for particular attention to the little guests, especially Mr Andreas with his kindeness during all the week. I am looking foward to have another fantastic holiday at the Family Alpina.

  Comfortable perfection

  If you are looking for a high quality family vacation look no further! We are not new to great hotels but this was our first trip with our 10 month old daughter and the Post-Alpina made everything simple. We wanted a quality hotel that wouldnt make us feel uncomfortable with a crying baby or a baby making a mess. No need to bring a high-chair or even baby food...they take care of everything from bibs at dinner to making baby their first meals with no salt. Our room was actually a little apartment with a kitchen and so we were also free to fix snacks and lunch for our child. There is also a mini club for children 3 and up and judging the other kids faces they seemed very happy (Pina the hotels mascot definitely was part of the happiness). Private babysitting is also available and allowed us to take 2 hours for ourselves. We enjoyed the pool and the toys available for the kids in the baby pool. Unfortunately because of Covid we could not use the spa except for the sauna. The staff were welcoming and always sweet with the baby making us feel right at home. We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast and dinner, the food is really delicious. The hotels position was also perfect for our vacation, it is less than 100 meters from the ski lift for mount Elmo, a big bike rental shop, the Versciaco train station and the bike route that leads to Lienz.
