  Gran resort

  Espectacular resort, enorme, dividido en varios edificios que se situan a ambos lados de la carretera, pesa a eso, dispone de varias piscinas, restaurantes y zonas de recreo, personal amable, al lado de la playa. Una buena elección a 20 minutos del aeropuerto de Chania

  Nice hotel nice Staff!

  Just back today, my wife and I had really nice time, we arrived at approx 22.30 after travelling from Manchester, to be welcomed by Katerina on reception, she is a credit to this hotel, she helped me and my wife many things including where to go locally and on a wider radius, she really wanted guests to have a happy holiday......... the two bar staff on duty day and night ( George) the young lady by day is also superb she is I think a trainee manager!!............we stayed in the village 4 Star, but we ate all meals except for Breakfast, at the 5 Star sister hotel over the road which is a much nicer setting overlooking the beach...........we met some lovely people in our 10 night stay, from all around Europe there were especially nice people from Denmark also France! It was a really nice atmosphere at the poolside bar at night!

  We went for a week of sunshine and weren't disappointed we only had one day with no sun. The hotel is well situated in the town with lots of shops, restaurants, pubs (with large TVs to watch world sport) and beauty parlours. The village resort was just the right size for us and our room was on the second floor of a block close to all the amenities. We stayed on an all inclusive package, although the room had a separate living/kitchen area if needed. The shower leaked a little after every use, but it didn't bother us (it soaked the bath mat but this was replaced daily), the hairdryer provided in bathroom would only work for a short while on the highest heat and would then cut off for quite a while but it worked fine on the second heat setting. It was a nice room, kept clean and tidy daily. I recommend bringing shampoo, conditioner and body lotion as only small bars of soap and combined shower gel and shampoo (in a container on the wall of the shower) are provided. You pay a deposit for beach towels which can be swapped every couple of days and need to pay a small amount to use the safe if you wish to. My wife had a pedicure in the hotel spa which is situated across the road in the sister five star resort, which she was very pleased with, hotel guests receive a 15% discount; she also had a manicure and facial in a local beauty salon which was also good. The pool is quite cold but once you get over the initial shock very pleasant. The food in the village resort was quite basic but you could find something you liked every meal. The wines included in the all inclusive package were on draft, the white and rose were very drinkable but the red not to our taste. We ate at the a la carte restaurant and buffet at the sister hotel which were excellent. We also enjoyed the exercise class at 1030 every morning except Saturdays, It swapped between stretching, yoga and pilates, it only lasted about 25 minutes but it was nice to do something, there was also aqua gym every day at 1145 but we didn't do that. Overall a great value for money holiday.

  Good accommodation

  We stayed here as a family with a kid bed and a studio. We were a little disappointed about the size of the room and the ants that keep crawling everywhere ( we stayed at 3nd floor - last in our building ), but the staff was amazing, they cleaned as best as they could and helped us with any extra needs. The place is great for a 1,8 yo girl who was entertained by every staff member at every corner. That made her feel much stronger and her gained curiosity made her see different and understanding much more. Thank you! The place is not far from the beach. If you want to party .. head left from the building ( this include a much more animated area ) to shop and find some nice quiet beach .. head right - about 300m. You can also find great scuba & snorkel instructors ;) The food is also great, you have diversity. Great restaurant with also great staff!

  Great value

  We stayed there at the very end of the season and were quite happy with the level of service we got for our money. We enjoyed the food, as well as cocktails and snacks (all inc.) Lots of pools, private beach and free car park free pf charge. Staff members very helpful from reception to the barmans.
