  Fantastic!

  Phil and his wife do an amazing job at running the motel. They are friendly, accommodating and generous people. The rooms were clean and spacious. I honestly could not recommend this place more! Its close to the wineries and the motel runs a bus service for a very reasonable price.

  Great weekend escape

  We have just had a 2 night getaway at the Portarlington Beach Motel We were looked after and made feel welcome from the minute we stepped off the ferry. Motel is a close walk to restaurants and pub. Thank you to Darren, Phil and the team for making our weekend so enjoyable. We will be sure to come back.

  Perfect weekend getaway

  For our first time to Portarlington we couldn't have asked for a more accommodating stay. We stayed in the Luxury apartment which was perfect for our group. Phil was very welcoming and dropped our group multiple times to the town centre. We hope we can make this place a regular getaway.

  Aircraft air-con

  We stayed 3nts with air-con from hell. It was leaking my daughter slipped when we arrived opening the front door. First day l rung out bath mat 5 times We checked in 2pm One very tiny bedroom right near the air-con with bunks it was impossible to sleep Full lite from the outside light. My grandson went home early after riding his dad as we both had no sleep. I Slept on the floor the last night in the corner not much better so loud and not dark. I must say l used ear plugs and they did not work to block the noise. My daughters bed in the alcove was quite and darker. Kitchen well set up. Pool was enjoyed but no BBQ not working. Lots of months to fix problems in lockdown. I mentioned on second day cleaning staff knew it was leaking and very noisy. So no we will never visit again. Room 7

  Long weekend

  My sister and I and our partners had an awesome long weekend in Port Arlington as our very first escape after so many months of lockdown in Melbourne. We caught the ferry from Docklands to Port Arlington where we were picked up and taken back to the motel by our amazing host Darren.On the way he pointed out dining options and handy shops The rooms were clean and comfortable and after settling in we took an easy walk into town for lunch at the pub.We came back to the motel to sit by the sparkling pool and passed some time talking to other guests and just enjoying the peace and sunshine. Dinner was booked at the golf club and Darren kindly offered to take us over there. As they have a courtesy bus at the club we made use of that to go to dinner and come home again.The next day we set off into town again and this time it was Phils turn to be obliging and helpful. He offered to drive us wherever we wanted to go and even made a time for the next morning to return us to the pier to catch the ferry home. The whole weekend was great and wed highly recommend staying at The Portarlington Beach Motel for its comfort,location ,cleanliness and amazing staff.Take the ferry over to make your stay Just a bit more special.
