  Recomendable solo si hay poco presupuesto...

  Es una opción económica para un país sorprendentemente caro. Dispone de los servicios básicos y aire acondicionado para poder dormir cómodo. Queda ubicado en un sector relativamente cercano al centro, unos 20 minutos a pie.

  Aceptable

  Estuve en agosto de 2012, la tv funcionaba deficiente, internet lentísimo y sin WiFi, el agua no era potable, se cortaba la luz cada cierto rato, aire acondicionado funciona bien, aseo regular, desayuno aceptable, atención regular.

  Unbelievable... No way to stay there!

  Sales, not polite, no service, dirty lines, line feels maivais, broken mattresses, WC dirty, cockroaches, moisisures, blood stain on the sheets ... It is a place that does not deserve to have a second! Refuses give the money back and accept their mistakes! No way! There is for this price way better place....

  Cheap, adequate and reliable!

  Not the flashiest of places but if all you're after is a cheap bed near the town centre action, you're in the right place! Rooms may have originally offered a view of the port but most of the port view is now blocked by the Lebanon Electricity building.

  Staying at Port View can literally find you in the middle of a violent Lebanese Street Fight.

  Super friendly staff, perfect location, but the bar at the base of the Port View building - currently called "Plan B 18" - make this hotel a place to avoid. Almost weekly, a violent, loud street fight breaks out at this bar and spills out to the street - drawing crowds of dozens armed with broken bottles, fists, rocks and shouting words in Arabic/English/French that would make a sailor blush. 90% of the time, the cause is drunk guys fighting over a woman - and all their mates join in. Last night, the street brawl started at about 3am, and lasted - no joke - about 20 minutes. Why Plan B 18 doesn't hire appropriate security is mind boggling, given the frequency of the fights. *** Why Port View hotel doesn't hire better security to protect its guests is more troubling, as there is no way to enter/exit the hotel without passing through the fight zone.*** That there doesn't appear to be a police presence to stop the regular incidents of violence at the base of the Port View hotel, should make you think twice before considering booking here. Angry crowds can turn on you in a heartbeat. Lebanon is a wonderful, vibrant country - Beirut, its thriving heartbeat. But staying at Port View exposes you to some of the worst Lebanon has on offer. Until Port View Hotel sorts this mess out, you will likely be more safe and sound staying elsewhere. :-(
