  Best value holiday I have ever had.

  Never been to Pontins - but with the current Covid situation I saw this being advertised and decided to take my mother away for a four night break. It was the first time she had been anywhere since March. The price was £59 per person for four days - that was dinner, bed and breakfast - FOR FOUR NIGHTS NOT PER NIGHT! I have paid more than that for one night in a Travelodge! We did not expect anything - in fact we were a little apprehensive as to what it would be like. Well -... Did the room need updating? Yes. Could the entertaiment venue do with a bit of TLC? Yes. Was the dining area a little more like a canteen than a restaurant? Yes. But - Was the room clean? Yes! Was the room warm after a chilly day? Yes! Was the shower hot and powerful? Yes! Were we well fed and was there a choice of food? Yes! Did the staff work their socks off under difficult conditions in this Covid time? Yes! Fair play to the staff who are going to be out of work from Monday. They did everything they could to keep people happy. We have no complaints. Quite the contrary.

  First day blues

  First night at Sand Bay not a lot of sleep, next door drunk and arguing until knocked on wa LL to stop their arguing. Over the other side of us a drunken crowd of 15+ people decided to have a party until 4am in one of nearby chalet no visits from security who are supposed to visit on a regular patrol. Told this to reception next morning 31st Oct woman said they can do this partying my husband asked about Corvid rules of no more than 6 etc she said it didn't apply to them Wonder what Pontins would say to that statement. My husband told her he would phone police if it went on again and let them decide on Laws and Corvid. Lack of security patrols and lack of care for other guests shown by this staff member. Other staff really working hard for everyone.

  Best value around, entertainment staff work tirelessly and food plentiful. Looking forward to coming again next year. Always a different theme every week and we would love to stay every week but cant. A lot of people expect this Ritz but as long as you like real entertainment, a good laugh at a cheap price pontins is for you

  Pontins law breakers

  DO NOT TRUST PONTINS they cancelled our Twixmas break on the 18th October and as yet we have not received our refund the law requires refunds to be paid within 2 weeks. You can not reach them by phone and they are not responding to emails!

  Disgusting service

  I would not advise anyone to book a break with Pontins at the moment. Whilst we were down there in early September they convinced us that the new year break we already had booked would still go ahead and that we needed to pay further money that was due. We paid £120 making a total paid £200 the remainder of the balance being due November. We were informed on 16th October that site was closing down for 3 months and we requested refund of £200. This was acknowledged saying that it would take a little while ???? Since then we have not been able to make any contact with Pontins at all, there is no telephone contact possible at all abs they have completely ignored the many emails I have sent. I am totally disgusted with this company who are breaking the law by not giving refunds but are still advertising holidays abs taking deposits for them. Its 4 months since our new year break was cancelled and they are completely ignoring us. I strongly advise anyone thinking of booking a holiday to look elsewhere and not book with Pontins.
