Worst hotel everWorst hotel Ive ever stayed at. Hotel and rooms are outdated. The pictures must be from 20yrs ago. Never received room service despite putting the tag outside of the door. Nothing to do onsite besides bbq, and the grills were so broken down you could barely use them. Only one umbrella on the entire outside to use by your table. Hotel restroom were pure disgusting. I went to the restroom in the lobby and not only did it smell like urine, but the above ceiling had a huge hole in it. All outside garbages were full and had garbage overflowing on the ground. Towels in the room were dingy and had holes. Hair in the shower on the wall. Dont know why its called a resort when theres NOTHING to do there. NOTHING. We tried to make the best of it but I couldnt wait to check out. Please DONT Stay here.

NASTY PLACE!First of all, during this time of covid 19...hardly anyone was wearing masks and nobody said anything about it. And the hallways are dark no matter what time of day it is. A bathroom towel wasnt clean..there was some hard pink stuff on it. Trash was blowing all over the property and it was overflowed in the hallways. Soda machine didn't work and it took my money. Everybody hung out by the door, which was nearest to our room, where the smoking area is and so if you went through that door, youd be hit by smoke. There was noise right outside our window since we were on the bottom floor, where everyone hung out. I am very disappointed with this place. It's probably not up to code with health inspector people. I will never come back nor will I recommend this hotel to anyone. Oh AND our keys wouldnt to get into the building AND our room!! What's going on here!?

I do NOT recommend this at all!The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is the staff is nice. But I am actually surprised this hotel passes any inspection. I stayed here 1 night with my husband and it was one night too long. Bathroom was full of mold. The bathroom counter was falling apart. No tissues and this place looks run down and hasn't been renovated since the early 80's. I went to walk my dog outside and there was a man peeing right at the back entrance and my husband went to walk the dog a few hours later around midnight and he said he thinks he interrupted some sort of "exchange" ....but he felt unsafe. Thank god we have a big dog. I also highly do not recommend the bar/restaurant at the hotel called Copper Penny...the Penny is about what the food is worth!! My husband and I agreed might be the worst hotel we have stayed at. Again...this is for the hotel itself. The staff was nice. I don't understand why they call a resort....They should call it the Shelter Hotel...and that is literally what it is...Shelter from sleeping outside. I do not recommend.

CHARGES ON MY CREDIT CARD ALMOST 2 YEARS AFTER MY STAYreceived a charge on my credit card dec 2020 from the resort. called "customer service" rep Fred who said he couldn't find my name or credit card number on file and asked to call me back. i emailed him a picture of my statement charge. he emailed me back that auditors were in at the end of november and found a bunch of unsettled credit card batches from stays in FEBRUARY 2019 (almost 2 years prior to the charge). without so much as a telephone call, email, voicemail, or letter explaining the error found, a charge appeared on my credit card. called and they stated there was nothing they were going to correct on their end and to just dispute it with my credit card company. well, not only am i disputing it, i am making sure people know your awful business practices

This was literally the worst everREAD THIS ENTIRE REVIEW.....Wanted to get away for the day and do some snow activities. I found this deal on booking.com and went through the pictures and it seemed pretty old, but the hot tub in the room sold me. Well that was the only and I mean the only good thing about the room. There was no one at the front desk upon arrival we had to call the number left there. Walking in I felt like I was checking into the roach motel but I was trying to be fair. We walked through the hotel to get to our room and it was a ghost town it looked like it was condemned, this was a bad scene from a murder movie I once saw. There was a odor that I can only describe as musty. Upon entering the room I can see the room matched the hotel. Resort should be taken off this places name! Nothing has been updated since 1973 the bedding was nothing as seen in pictures it was that godawful quilted spread that is comparable to movers blankets. Furniture matched the 1973 vibe and has definitely seen better days, it did not age with Grace. The walls had holes in them some filled and not painted some open and never attempted to fix. The bathroom door and room door had deep scratches on them where a large animal possibly a bear attempted to get out. Floor had questionable stains, curtains looked like the bed spread with a whole different pattern, from the outside the curtains looked so visibly worn it legit looked liked the place was an old abandoned warehouse and rats ate away at them, they were shredded. The microwave had no handle. The toilet had a leak with an ice bucket behind it that was half full of water. The walls in the bathroom room had holes filled with cement. No surprise that the bed was a slab of wood and the pillows where hard as well. The hot tub was the only good part of the room, it was clean and usable, yea buttons were missing but it was still usable. Unfortunately using the hot tub caused another leak that I was to scared to look for so all night and morning we had to be tortured with the loud dripping inside the wall. In order to somewhat mask the sound we had to sleep with the tv on. Speaking of the TV, Chanels lost signal all night long and the good channels didnt even come in on the small TV. The heat control was messed up, there was no happy medium. Low heat/ high heat and Auto all equal 76 degrees if you turned it down it said 70 but pumped heat all night even on auto it made no difference. When you turned it off completely within an hour you were freezing (no surprise there) since the windows had cold air coming in. Every 2 hours the unit had to be turned on or off. But that didnt wake us up all night because we didnt sleep with the sound of a large dog barking and our neighbors walking in and out of there rooms every 20 mins and I mean all night and all morning from 9pm to 11am. I have no idea what warrants going in and out of a room like that, further more with all the rooms in that entire place that were obviously available why did we have to be next door to any of the 5 cars parked and staying at the hotel. I unfortunately had an asthma attack most likely induced from mold in the room, that was fun. The cherry on top came in the form of a wolf spider that greeted us in the morning. My suggestion is that this entire facility be imploded and use the land to build a real resort or even just a hotel that is functional.
