Wow- will absolutely stay again. We spent the weekend here and were totally impressed by the room and the staff. The hotel is very unassuming from the street- (park on the street, check in then go to parking as its gated and you need your key to open the gate) but the inside and courtyard are lovely. Our room was large with wooden floors, a kitchenette with everything you could think of dish/utensil wise, a separate living room, washer and dryer and had everything we needed to have a comfortable, ordering in type getaway. The furnishings are heavy, quality pieces and the overall decor is warm and calm with an antique feel. The shower had great pressure with a large shower head as well as a mounted wand. The soaps and shampoo smelled fantastic and there was a tray with everything you might need- mending kit, shoe cloth, dental, vanity and manicure set and comb. We didnt need much of this but it was nice in case we did. The room was also pretty quiet- thick walls but we could hear the people above us walking (wooden floors with area rugs). The front desk staff was very kind and helpful both checking in and out. This was a very relaxing and comfortable stay, with the COVID policies in place I felt very safe- they take things seriously and it showed. Will definitely stay again.

Highly recommend!Had to take a business trip to LA, and this place was great. The room was cozy and elegant, and had everything we could possibly need (there was a discount on their suites, so I got a higher tier than I normally would) with great workstation (desk, lamp, window, phone, near outlet, comfortable chair), a comfortable king-size bed, 2 closets, a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, mini stovetop, pots, pans, bakeware, silverware, Keurig with coffee/tea supplies, a living room with seating for 4, a round dining table with seating for 4, and a porch! The courtyard and rooftop terrace are beautiful, and the concierge is so helpful. Everyone we interacted with was very friendly and accommodating. There is parking on-site, and if you call ahead of time, they can give you specific instructions for how to access guest parking (its the most intuitive to find, but Im also bad with directions). No on-site dining, but across the street from several restaurants and around the corner from a Noahs bagels. Right in the heart of downtown Westwood near UCLA, and a few miles away from several embassies. It wasnt busy, and everyone we saw had masks and stayed at a safe distance. I couldnt recommend this place enough.

Great accommodationsLovely surroundings, excellent service from the staff. Phiippe went out his way for me. I am a senior and it is difficult for me to travel. Staying at Plaza La Reina makes my visit so much more enjoyable.

Phillipe (Director of Operations) Ruined Our Stay at this HotelPlaza La Reina Los Angeles Phillipe (Director of Operations) Ruined Our Stay at this Hotel 777351900 Phillipe is the problem with this hotel. He is a snotty monster and a rude creep. We were extending our stay and mentioning the leaky shower. It took about 10 minutes to explain to Phillipe about an issue with the room extension (Hotel tonight booked us for a 1-Bedroom room and their computer thought we had booked a smaller room). He wouldn't really listen, thinking we were given a nicer room than we had booked (which we weren't). Someone brushed by my service animal and he barked. Phillipe then began aggressively jumping up and down and said he was throwing us out because our service animal barked. This is an ADA violation, among being unprofessional and disrespectful. The rooms here are run down. For example, the drain is blocked up, the glass shower leaks, the kitchen cabinets are broken and handles are falling off. I could live with all of that, but Phillipe and his psychotic episode was too much. This guy a loose cannon. He is the Director of Operations. Management should think about letting this guy go. No customer service skills whatsoever.
