  Clean and Comfortable

  This was our first visit to this resort and it wont be our last. The main office was welcoming, large and bright and had a friendly staff. The accommodations were clean, spacious and comfortable. Soft seafoam walls and white kitchen, flooring with tile and berber. Nicely appointed and functional. The air conditioning worked great and the ceiling fans were a bonus. There was a nice stackable washer and dryer too. The master bedroom has a jacuzzi tub and a shower. The good size balcony overlooked a pretty creek with ducks and turtles. Very serene and picturesque. The pool was a close walk from our building. It was large and very clean. The chairs and loungers were in great condition as were the tables and umbrellas. Unfortunately, the pool grill was not open for business. Surfside Beach is a short drive and there is also a shuttle. The beach is really nice. It was very clean and had chairs and umbrellas for rent. We would come back!

  Relaxing Staycation!

  This was one of the best staycation trips every! I had a full 7 day stay in the presidential villa and I enjoyed every minute of it! This place was quite and relaxing, just what I needed to get away from the craziness! Special thanks to Chris Hayden for checking me in! He was very knowledgeable about the area and very professional check in was smooth and easy! Also special thanks to Reese Holman for a tour of the property and escorting me to my unit! Customer service doesnt get any better than that! Thank you to the housekeeping runners for bringing everything I needed in a timely manner! This was one of the best staycations ever! I will DEFINITELY be back fo another relaxing trip!

  Peaceful, clean and not what we expected

  Its peaceful here. Nice to see the morning wildlife. We had a reservation thru RCI for 1 bedroom king at Plantation Resort. Check in was confusing even with the signs at the entrance which isnt the entrance according to staff. When you arrive from the hwy that first bldg you see is now the considered the back because Wyndham has built a new bldg right behind it. Youll see signs that say Grand Palms Resort too. Let them know it was just my husband and I - we got double beds in the master bedroom upstairs not a king. There are stairs to enter the unit and stairs to get to the bedroom. Unit was clean and provided all that was needed. Couch as not comfortable and had no support. The missing skillet was provided. Paid housekeeping fee but received no service for 5 night stay. The vents were in in high ceiling downstairs and it stayed cold downstairs so we camped upstairs where it was warm or bundled in clothes. Drivers constantly speeding and tailing very closely. 1.5 miles from beach on Ocean Blvd. Nice family pizza restaurant next door. After showering the jacuzzi makes noise to dry out - annoying. We can cross this off our bucket list.

  Clean, but misleading as it's a timeshare

  I booked believing it was a normal hotel-type destination. Upon arriving I quickly learned it was unorganized as we arrived after hours but were not allowed a key to our room. Security had to drive us to the property with 2 others who were there after us but he took them to their property before us. Took about 30-45 mins to accomplish this. I realized the next morning WHY they won't give you a key. You have to listen to their sales pitch crap first. We were awakened at 9 am with a sales agent desperately trying to sell a "presentation" at 11 am. I rarely get to sleep in and was less than pleased to be awakened on my vacation by a telemarketing call. They would barely take no for an answer. Since we were then already awake, we went to front to complete check-in and get key. When you get your key, they shuffle you to another sales agent who is again desperately trying to sell you on a 90 min presentation of timeshare. She wanted me to "explain" why I was saying no to sitting in a presentation that I had no intention of purchasing something anyway, wasting 90 mins of MY time on my vacation. I had no idea this was the sort of place this was or you can be assured I wouldn't have stayed. I don't do high-pressure predatory practices. Overall, property was nice and clean. Pool was nice. Hot tub had far too much chlorine, which meant you couldn't handle much more than 5-7 minutes without your eyes on fire. Would not return simply because of aforementioned sales tactics.

  Unprofessional Staff and Harassing Sales Tactics

  We checked in with no problems then had to obtain parking passes from the most irritating mother and daughter. As soon as we opened the room door the phone is ringing again with them trying to get us to attend a timeshare which were not interested in as we have better deals than making a terrible decision and commitment monthly. She called back the next morning same crap. The shower door was basically sitting there off track I called they planned to come the next day but my husband put the door back on track. We asked for no housekeeping they entered anyway I called the front and he said he would look into it and call back. When he called back he said it was a error between communication with departments the front seat and housekeeping. Upon check out we noticed the breakfast and other things available NO ONE never said anything to us about WIFI breakfast nothing. I explained it to Brandy wow no one EVER told us about these things and I even called and spoke to the manager about housekeeping entering our room. Our lights where off for 5-6 hours. I asked to speak to the manager when I called and the male said this is him how can I help. Anyway, Ely had the nerve to call me and say I was told by Brandy that you told her I said I was the manager and I said this and I said that so I need to clarify somethings. WHAT!!!!! A employee called me asking me about issues I had. We had a fairly okay stay stuff is unprofessional and needs to be retrained.
