  The view makes up for the outdated interior.

  I really enjoyed my stay here. The view was amazing from the 2nd floor with floor to ceiling windows and hearing the ocean from the room 24/7. If you are looking for something super posh, the resort is passable. I would stay again if offered as the pools and scenery are well worth it. You are very close to many restaurants and stores within walking distances as well.

  Great view of the ocean

  Plantation Island is nothing fancy, but it offers a great view of the Atlantic. The unit was outdated, yet the bed was comfortable. The pull out sofa was not. We enjoyed the 3 small hot tubs. We were disappointed that the 2 pools were not heated. I did enjoy the bit of landscaping surrounding the complex. There was no balcony, but I did enjoy being able to open the screen and inhale the ocean air.

  Winter get away

  We stayed at the Island Plantation in Ormand Beach Fl. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a small bike trailer which they allowed us to park on the lot. The room was very clean, a little on the dated side, but right on the beach. We would stay with them again!

  View is unmatched along the Ormond/Daytona beach

  While some of the units may be aging, the staff is friendly and helpful, prompt to help, and the grounds are clean. Heated pool, 3 hot tubs, and floor to ceiling glass view from dining and living room provides such unimaginable calm and peace I could watch the waves all day.

  newer high rise next to original motel. Quaint property. great location. good pools and service. easy access to all AIA services and Granada west to I-95. Not as modern as some might prefer. Enjoyed it .
