  Me alojé en este hotel durante 4 días la primera semana de septiembre. Nada más llegar, el personal me dio una calurosa bienvenida haciéndome sentir como en casa. El hotel está establecido en un antiguo edificio con varios siglos de antiguedad y mucho encanto, perfectamente modernizado y adaptado para la hostelería; la decoración y la ambientación son exquisitas. La habitación era muy acogedora y cómoda. Las camas eran eran confortables, pude tener un buen y reparador descanso. El baño tenía todo le necesario para el aseo. La limpieza de la habitación fue genial y puntual, ninguna queja al respecto, siempre tuve toallas y sábanas limpias sin problema y nunca fui molestado. Las comidas eran deliciosas. El desayuno era abundante y constaba de todo tipo de cereales, embutidos (frescos y cocinados), huevos, panes, mermeladas, y diferentes zumos y yogures. Todo el personal son muy simpáticos y atentos, siempre están dispuestos a ayudarte; te hacen sentir como en familia. Muchas gracias :) Sin duda recomiendo este hotel y volvería a alojarme aquí.

  Lovely family run hotel with very warm and personal service

  We stayed just one night at this hotel while have a short skiing holiday in Austria. Hotel is not far, but far enough from the Autobahn and there are many ski resorts nearby. The family who runs the place is really putting their hearts into making every guest feeling welcome. We had one of the recently renovated rooms and it was nicely decorated, bed was comfortable and bathroom very functional. We also tried the sauna at the basement in the building that worked well. Restaurant served very good food and moderate prices, they do have some interesting Austrian and international wines too but you need ask for specials. Breakfast was also good and there was many choices. I definitely could imagine staying at this hotel again if traveling in the region and it is a practical base for skiers with a car wanting to see multiple resorts. We ended up skiing in Zillertal this time but also Alpbach and some smaller places locate relatively close by. Lastly I think besides the warm service important part of the charm fo this hoteI is the old interior, wooden panels, stair case and traditional fabrics. I hope it will remain like that in the future as well.

  Friendly staff

  I just needed a hotel to sleep for night and decided to stay in this one. I am glad I did, because the staff is really friendly and the room is very good, especially if you take notice of the low price. A recommendation for all to stay in.

  Excellent!

  Everything is great here. The hotel staff is very friendly, room is nice and clean and breakfast is really good! Don't know what else to write about this, but I totally recommend this accomodation....

  Fantastisk Hotel

  We have just returned from an absolutely fantastic week's holiday. We stayed 6 adults (3 rooms) in this extremely charming and family run hotel. We were greeted with a heartwarming welcome at this amazing and genuine Tyrolean hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are a super good size with a high cleaning standard - in addition, the hotel has a cozy bar and lounge area and not least a super authentic schnapps cellar/restaurant that exudes history and real Tyrolean atmosphere. Lovely breakfast with a good selection. The location of the hotel is in Pill and with short distances (by car) to both beautiful lakes (for e.g.swimming), the silver mine in Schwaz (8 min. by car)  beautiful trips and walks in the mountains and cozy excursions to the surrounding towns, where a ride on the cable car is an absolute must as well as exciting and cozy restaurants. We asked for recommendations and good advice at the hotel for excursions and they were super helpful and we got a lot of input for exciting excursion destinations that we would not have thought of ourselves. We are excited about Austria and have been there many times - but the Hotel Plankenhof is definitely a hotel we will return to and we can give our warmest recommendations. Kind regards Family Olesen
