  MUY RECOMENDABLE

  Hotel situado justo en una esquina dentro de la vieja y maltratada muralla de Chiang Mai. Hotel excelente en su servicio y comodidad. Al tratarse de un hotel tipo boutique (asi se anuncian) nunca vamos a encontrar grandes espacios, inmensa piscina e infinidad de bares, de hecho no tiene ninguno disponible, tiene un servicio de habitaciones, pero lo que nosotros entendemos como bar o cafetería nada de nada, pero no importa, la tranquilidad se respira a raudales.La habitacion (solo hablo de la que estuve) grande, comodisima y muy limpia. El baño amplio y con una cristalera para impedir que el agua se saliera hacia el cuarto de baño. El desayuno, sigo diciendo que al tratarse de un hotel pequeñito, la sala del desayuno, es pequeñita, pero sobra, los tres dias que estuve, nunca encontre a mas de cuatro comensales y las viandas buenas y suficientes e igualmente te hacen las tortillas sobre la marcha, aunque hay que pedirlas. En resumen buen hotel, bien situado y con un servicio mas que esmerado. ¡Ah! de me olvidaba, no entiendo como te cobran el traslado aeropuerto/hotel/aeropuerto, cuando al contratarlo te dicen que es gratuito, pero la cantidad es insignificante. Otra cosa que me llamó la atencion (luego comprobé que en los otros hoteles, tambien se hace) es que no dicen nada de no llevarte las cosas tipicas de recuerdo de una estancia en el hotel, zapatillas, jabon, etc...pero te dan una nota, donde ¡ojo! especifican absolutamente todo lo que hay en la habitacion; television, cabecero de la cama, nevera.etc., .es increible, lo anotan todo (quien se va a llevar la nevera o el cabecero de una cama) y te indica el precio de cada cosa, que como vean que falta al irte, te lo cargaran en la tarjeta. Me causo risa, la verdad. Bueno en definitiva hotel mas que aceptable para hospedarte en Chiang Mai, totalmente recomendable...

  Wow! What an awesome Hotel!!

  This has to be one of the cutest hotels! Large, clean rooms, with prime location in Old Town Chiang Mai. Close enough to the action, but not too close for crowds. The staff has to be some of the nicest people I have had the pleasure with staying with. So accommodating. I felt very safe staying by myself as a single female traveler. Id definitely pick to stay here again if I ever get the chance to return to Chiang Mai!

  Disapointed

  The price os too high for the quality provided: Breakfast: little choice and quantity Room: family Room spacious but with noise of the traffic around. The Windows does not protect your Confort. Thanks to the earplugs I did sleep. Swimming pool: too small and lack of seats for guests The outside decoration, luxury Louis XIV rococó, contrast with all the service provided. The ONLY positive note I' ll give is the simpathy of the staff.

  Hugely Disappointing

  I'm desperately disappointed to be writing a negative review for this hotel as I was so looking forward to staying here. We stretched our holiday budget to stay in a Grand Deluxe Room as we wanted a nice view over the gardens and planned to spend some time relaxing in the hotel. However, this was made impossible by a construction site immediately next to the block containing the deluxe rooms. I appreciate it's not the hotel's fault but these rooms are significantly overpriced given that between 0755 - 1830 there is too much noise to comfortably relax. The rooms are large, clean, and have all the amenities you need. The bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower (but no shower curtain so we avoided using it). We used the other shower but this drained so poorly that you were often standing in an inch of water by the time you were finished. The bed and pillows are comfortable. The views over the pool were lovely from the balcony. However, the chairs are incredibly uncomfortable so you won't want to spend much time outside - some cushions would certainly be a cheap and easy improvement. Smoking is permitted on the balconies so if your neighbour smokes, you'll definitely smell it. The pool is cold but refreshing. There are seven loungers and 3 seats. There are plenty of towels available, as well as a shower and toilets. The garden is well maintained and landscaped nicely. At night it looks quite magical with the lanterns and lit up pool. The breakfast is pretty basic and underwhelming. Unless it's included in your room rate, I wouldn't spend any additional money on it. Location wise, as others have mentioned, you are by a main road so we did expect the traffic noise. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the main street where the Sunday Market is held. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this hotel at the moment. It looks lovely but the noise from construction site is really overwhelming, even when sat by the pool. At this price point (we paid around £90 a night) there are much better options to be had in Chiang Mai. I wish I had known about the construction prior to booking as I certainly wouldn't have stayed here.

  Very Nice and Comfortable Hotel

  We chose to stay at Pingdoi Hualin Boutique Hotel the only Lanna-Renaissance style accommodation in Thailand, located in the center of Chiang Mai. You may consider staying here. There is a huge golden fountain in the middle of the hotel area. With a unique Lanna style, the Grand Superior Room that we got was spacious, airy, with teak wood furniture. We love the hotel very much.
