  Amazing hospitality

  While the hotel gives you a run down look, the staff there are well mannered and genuinely help. They go out of their way to make the guests feel comfortable. However, there were frequent power cut issues due to low voltage. This was certainly an issue. The food is great and we all enjoyed the same. Some floors are still on renovation.

  Convenient Location but Over-priced

  The hotel is located in a central location, convenient for shopping centers, bus stops and food shops. Facilities are very basic and bathrooms give a bad smell coming from their tube well water. Value for money is low as later we found similar accommodation available for lower price than what we were paying for. Toiletries are available and one bottle of mineral water provided free of charge. If you need food, you have to order early as the kitchen closes around 2.30pm after lunch. We returned from Nagadeepa at around 3pm and tried ordering food for lunch and the kitchen staff had left by then.They display that VISA cards are accepted but when I tried to pay by card, they wanted cash as citing broken card machine. We had to rush to ATM, which was a hassle. Overall, I would rate it as average accommodation for very high price. Therefore, I don't think we will be staying there again.

  Convenient Location, but did not see many visitors when we were there!

  We stayed here for 4 nights and the rooms we were given were in a building where we did not see any other foreigners. This was probably because the on-line bookings were full and the accommodation was arranged by a local. The rooms were large and comfortable. The staff that looked after our rooms were very pleasant and always tried to please. We had fresh linen everyday. We usually advised them the night before what we would like for breakfast. Overall it was a comfortable stay, but I agree with another review regarding payment. They agreed to Visa and then on the morning said "the machine is broken" so that seems to be their ploy. We had to scramble cash between us to pay the bill!! Wifi was woeful and we struggled to get connections!

  Really friendly staff and excellent food

  The dosas here are amazing and the food is fairly priced for room service. Really some of the best food I had during my trip. The manager was very helpful after I had a minor scooter accident with a rented scooter and I appreciated that. The rooms are basic but everything was clean.

  The Best place to stay and the food was just beyond awesome

  A very good hotel to stay at in the heart of Jaffna town. Convenient spot for all the leisurely activities. The staffs were really friendly and go out of their way to make our stay feel like home. Flexible Check-in and Check out facilities. Rooms are really big and comfortable. We stayed here for 5 nights and tried all kind of foods south Indian, Chinese and authentic Jaffna style . They were really tasty and when inquired about the chefs we came to know that they are from South India and North India. I feel This is the best place to stay just for the comfortness and the tasty food.
