  Stunning views but scary ride!

  Firstly, do not believe the map! It was a very long journey from the main road although the map said about 45 minutes it was more like 1 hour and 45 minutes. You will need a car as there is nothing close to the hotel. The first room we were given was not what we booked. When we asked about it we were told that we would have to pay 200 Euros for the "upgrade". Once we checked our booking again and showed it to the reception they said they did not have the correct information and we would have to wait until the next morning for our room. We were disappointed as the pool closed every afternoon from 2:30-5:30. We are not sure why. Also, the "Pool Bar" was poorly stocked. Much of the menu was not available including wine which was available upstairs at dinner. The food was okay at the hotel but the menu did not change much - same starters and desserts most days. They did clean every day but there were cobwebs everywhere and a general lack of cleanliness around the entire site. The rugs and materesses in the rooms needed a serious clean! As described there is a lot of stairs on the property. What we didn't expect was stairs to every beach in the vicinity. Don't forget something in the car as you will not want to go back up the stairs. Our highlight was Damouchari Beach - absolutely lovely with great tavernas along the way. Still a climb down to the water but not as bad as other beaches in the area.

  Centrally located for a lot of fun trips

  We initially wondered what we would do in the area as it seemed a bit remote but the book provided by the hotel was great and we had loads of places to explore this beautiful area. Loads of beaches and lovely mountain villages; boat trips and the Pelion little railway were great as well as the Mamma Mia beach and Volos town! Just so lovely and the hotel was in a lovely area/village with great views. Just be aware of all the driving around hairpin bends in the mountains... lovely if you re able to do it. Hotel has a lot of steps to the rooms and pool.

  Excellent hospitality

  The hotel is placed in an ideally location. The view is unbelievable. Is a very quite place.the swimming pool is large and clean. Also the room was very comfortable.the staff very polite and helpfull. Is a hotel that i will visit again for sure

  Disappointed

  The view is amazing and the location is great. That's about it. Cleanliness could be improved drastically. Toilet seat was dirty from the previous residents, spider webs all over the place. Furniture is really old, there even was a water leak on a rainy day. Biggest problem was the scorpions roaming free inside the building. We encountered three in the bathroom, who know how many more visited us. You can find something better for the price, stay away.

  Not professional, untrustworthy

  Good resort with nice pool and view. Staff not genuinely polite. However, only 3 stars because the concierge is a trickster. We asked for a room with a sea view which he confirmed a couple of times, in fact repeating the statement awkwardly many times. In my point of view, sea view means that you can see the sea from the room. Instead we got a room whose view to the sea was completely blocked by a tree. Hence, we felt tricked, and my guest from abroad didn't get what I promised him.
