  Un desastre. Vergonzoso.

  Reservamos mendiante despegar.com Solo la atención y comprensión de la chica que se encarga de las reservas. Sin advertencia previa nos mandaron a otro edificio más lejos del centro (sunset apartment): el edificio es sencillamente horrible. Un ingreso oscuro en una zona fea, no es un lugar turístico ni preparado para ello. Realmente una experiencia mala. el baño chico, sucio, con olor, mal funcionamiento del agua caliente. de acuerdo con lo que nos explicaron al poner en la reserva que son más de dos personas el sistema formula la reserva en este edificio que realmente es vergonzoso, no la mitad de lo que pagamos. la chica que nos recibió hizo algunas concesiones para que realmente no decidamos perder lo pagamos e irnos a otro sitio, aunque ello no quita que deba advertir a futuros huéspedes porque la experiencia fue patética y se parece más a una estafa.

  Good location but would not stay there again.

  Pros: Good location, near the ferries, beach and old city. Shopping and restaurants close by. Decor pretty. Cons: No mattress cover. The TV on the side wall so hard to watch. When you take the key with you, the refrigerator turns off. Said serviced but not really. Tea and coffee not replenished. They didn't know the situation with street parking (which is cheaper than the parking area). Not greatly helpful in terms of recommendations.

  Super Modern, Great Location

  Ivana was kind enough to greet us in person outside of the apartments and show us in. She also provided us with tips of places to eat and things to do around Split. The apartment is in a great location, just a 5 minute walk to Bacvice Beach, as well as a 5 minute walk to the main promenade in Split with the old town also close by. We also managed to walk up to the main lookout in the Park Suma Marjan which provided a great view of the town. The apartment itself had obviously been refurbished recently and was extremely modern and clean. It was very hot during our stay and the air con was working exceptionally well which was great. Would definitely recommend the Pietra Rossa for a couples getaway.

  Nice room

  Spend 2 nights while visiting Split. Location is really convenient as it is somehow in the middle between old town and beaches. The room is big and nice decorated, bathroom is fine. Staff is very kind. There is only one negative point if you are sensitive to noise, ask for sure to become a bedroom on the backside. For the rest I can recommend, A/C and Wifi work perfectly.

  Needs simple improvements

  We booked the apartment as we were travelling as a group of 4 friends. Cannot comment on the pietra rossa rooms as they are in a totally different property. Make sure you know what you are booking. Ok so the apartment had good and bad points. Pros: The view from the apartment is beautiful Theres a lift that takes you to the apartment which is helpful as its on the 10th floor from what I can remember Its only a 15-20 minute walk to the main centre of split Its only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach A spar literally up the road Air conditioned and a tv with plenty of channels A large fridge A washing machine and clothes airer are in the apartment Beds were clean Cons: Noisy Air con is only in one room Only one wardrobe in one bedroom the other bedroom has no storage One bedroom has a working light and a lamp and the other bedroom has no working lights nor windows The bathroom is small, faulty and a bit dirty really The oven and hob above dont look like they are cleaned as there was so much dust hanging off the hob Plug sockets and light switches hanging off the walls No safe Nothing to make tea and coffee The outside of the apartment looks like Del Boys block of flats from only fools and horses - not really a problem but not what you expect on holiday perhaps Not enough towels Broken ornaments around the property Some of these things wouldnt cost a lot to fix and it would just make it tons better!! Suggestions ~ Another wardrobe A lamp and working light in one bedroom Fans for the bedrooms Replace the shower head and holder thats faulty Replace the shower doors Paint the walls to freshen it up Add more towels Clean the hob and oven Maybe just freshen the decor up ie ornaments that arent broken etc Fix the switches hanging off the walls Include a kettle and a safe Personally I wouldnt stay here again but for 3 nights it was ok. If all those things above were done I would consider it if I was coming back to split though. The host was a nice lady and she was quite down about her property. So she wouldnt need to feel embarrassed or ashamed if she put a little more investment into it :)
