  Gorgeous location - basic accommodation

  We booked this at the last minute for one night so probably paid over the odds. However, the location is absolutely brilliant, right on the bank of the Dordogne. The pool is lovely - clean, not too deep, with sunbeds. Playground for smaller children, but fine. Our accommodation was small, basic and a bit faded. But it was clean and well-equipped (despite no double-bed!). The small terrace was private enough and had table and chairs. Fridge was a god-send in the heat and we could refreeze cool packs for the next day. Unfortunately, there is no air-conditioning! Just a five minute walk into Argentat - which is lovely - made this a perfect place to stay. I imagine if you booked ahead you could grab a bargain.

  Fantastic

  This hotel is fantastic. The surroundings are beautiful, the nearby town is very nice too. The apartment was very big with an outdoor patio. The Dordogne River runs right behind it, and there is a pool and free parking.

  good centre for the dordogne

  lovely setting very convenient for the town, shops etc yet it seemed as if one was in the countryside. Would recommend both the accommodation and the area. I will certainly want to visit again in the near future

  Good location

  A good location, about a 10 minute walk into the town. Surrounded by countryside and even has an access gate so you can walk along the Dordogne river. The complex is quite small and quiet with just 3 blocks of apartments on 2 levels. There is a lovely clean swimming pool surrounded by sun beds and plenty of umbrellas and a children's play area. We found the staff extremely friendly and helpful and they spoke good English. We did decide to upgrade our apartment on arrival as we had booked one for 4 people and the bedroom was extremely small with only a double bed in it . As they had a larger one available for 6 people with a large bedroom and bathroom upstairs we decided to pay extra for that and as it was very hot whilst we were there we made the right decision. The apartments have nice big balconies or terraces and are well equipped with table and chairs. The kitchen area was quite small but adequate and well stocked with utensils etc. but no kettle so glad we had a travel one with us. There is plenty of free parking with the main car park being a couple of minutes walk from the apartments but unfortunately there are large trees which did leave a sticky substance on the cars. You can park closer to load and unload your car but cannot leave your car there overnight. I would recommend this residence if you want a nice quiet place to stay whilst visiting the Dordogne area.

  Hemos estado en varios centros vuestros ,siempre en Francia, para visitar distintas zonas y ya sabemos lo que nos encontraremos en cuanto a las instalaciones,son muy similares y las ubicaciones en general siempre buenas.
