Carefree filthThis was by far the worst place we've ever been to in France! Talk about over-promise, under-deliver! We made it very clear this was a special occasion and were offered (we didn't ask) a room on the top floor overlooking a beautiful port. Sounds lovely! When we arrived no such room was available and things went down hill very quickly. We were given room 4, the worst hotel room in all of frejus. Picture Frejus - beautiful port and vibrant harbour to the left - gorgeous family beach stretching to the right. We had a view if a tree and a shrub and absolutely no daylight. Why on earth they could fathom that any person in there right mind would visit frejus for a view of a tree I have no idea. By the time we managed to find a park in the small dingy underground carpark and take all of our stuff through a maze of doors and lifts, past the stinky garbage room and past the reception where the woman in the next room had clearly been promised the same thing and spent 4 hours in protest arguing with reception and sitting waiting for rectification. We were then well aware we had made a huge mistake choosing Pierre & vaccances. When the woman was discarded we tried our luck with reception and were basically told - too bad, you're welcome to leave and your payment is not refundable. Great! ZERO customer service. They were most accommodating to offer us a smaller studio room with similarly no view In a different hotel of there's. Its at this point I should point out im from New Zealand, my wife is french and we were taking our lovely little 14 month old son on his first trip to France - not quite what we were expecting from a nation that literally invented hospitality. Oh well, let's make the best of a bad situation... Well gosh no. The toilet greeted us with a present from the previous guest. The TV was the smallest tv (i didnt even know they still made them that small still) id seen in long time and i can only assume it was chosen to make the room look bigger. The sliding door lock was broken (great for a curious toddler) the shower was filthy, hadnt been cleaned (see pic) and the shower head was broken and just went around in circles when turned on, luckily there was two showers so we could use the other - but not the point. The fridge shelf was broken, the beds and couch (see pic) were filthy and dated, the couch had hair and dust from the previous 1,000 guests trapped in the most annoying velcro. The air con vent in the main room was mouldy and the vent in the bedroom full of dirt and dust (see pics). The floors were so filthy (see pic of the white towel) and sticky we couldn't let my son walk around bare foot. There was various cladding around the room and ceiling that showed signs of water damage and overall the room was disgusting. We spent the first night looking for other hotels and by the second night we couldn't bare to put our sone through another toxic night and left for Montpellier first thing in the morning with our seaside trip destroyed. That entire room and complex needs to be either heavily renovated or pulled down and started again. Reading other reviews which are similar I'd say with the price they charge (300-399 per night!) And the amount of people like is that leave early and forfeit their hard earned money thay could more than invest in a refurbishment. Its sad as I hate writing bad reviews but id rather burn the 800 we wasted not staying the final 3 nights there than stay there ever again. Avoid like the plague people, these folk just don't care! Once they have your money, you have no where else to go and then you have to make either the hard decision to stay or the hard decision to leave. Either way you lose and they win. 1 star - purely for location.

Good location avoid ground floorRead some mixed reviews before I got here so wasnt sure but location was good. Unfortunately had a ground floor room Of which none of the photos online from the agent show not surprisingly. You get a view of a path! Not great at all. Apartment was a good size but dated and needed some work. Seems to be an issue with ants! Parking also an issue as does not advertise the car park is only 1.80m tall so can cause an issue. Staff seemed fairly helpful.

SalMarkGood location right next to the harbour and lovely views, good size apartment for a family of 5. reception staff are very welcoming and helpful. The room and hotel needs some updating and needs better cleaning. The biggest disappointment is the swimming pool due to the strict rules that they have in place. there is a security man who sits near the entrance of the swimming pool to ensure all the rules are followed. The Men/Boys have to wear tight swimwear ( speedo) so hence had to go and buy new swimwear for my sons and husband. You are not allowed any toys/ balls / inflatables in the pool area, no food is allowed... no jumping no big goggles can be worn .. it goes on and on... for a family holiday this is not fun.

Superb apartmentWe've used this location for the past 4 yrs and will look to book for 2020. Friendly and helpful reception staff. The location is perfect with bars and restaurants in the marina, a 5mi walk away and the beach is just around the corner.
