  Quality accommodation with fantastic setting

  Stayed here with young adult sons. We all appreciated the interior design which gave a modern but comfortable finish. Great setting with the eater lapping the beach right outside. We also dined at the restaurant which served high quality food creatively presented again with a lovely outlook. Highly recommend this setting for a relaxed retreat.

  Just wished for better weather..

  I can just imagine how good it would be when the weather is on your side. Unfortunately we weren't blessed with great conditions but please don't let that take away from the resort. If you are looking for quality accommodation and dining between the Tasmanian capitals then I don't think you would find better. The restaurant menu was delicious and service was excellent. As for people who complained about mattresses I had no issue and thought it extremely comfortable, but would like options for pillows (personal preference only) Highly recommended

  Romantic weekend

  What a spectacular few days on the East Coast. Here are the highlights: - Food is outstanding highly recommend breakfast and dinner in the picture perfect restaurant - Views from the rooms are just stunning the sense of peace and tranquillity was such a respite from our city lives. We slept so well without any noises aside from nature - Walking along the beach was just so peaceful - The staff are lovely, great genuine service in a subtle and classy way! - The location is just perfect for exploring Freycinet, the vineyards and stunning beaches Thanks again we loved our stay and shall recommend to friends and family.   Disappointing

  We arrived late having had to drive to Swansea from Launceston where we had just completed a 6 day trek of the Overland Track from Cradle Mountain. We were exhausted and needed the two days that we had booked to be about recovery. That was a lucky thing as if we had hoped for a romantic/luxurious stay we would have been disappointed. Our room (#16) was lovely with a bathtub and all the little luxuries expected from a 5-star property BUT it had almost no view at all. We looked out at the parked cars of villas in front of us. There was a glimpse of the water but not very much. The meal (degustation) that we had was good but we were so tired we would have liked the option of room service.

  No great

  Resort is set in a magnificent position, first Impressions when checking in set the tone for 3 days.. the manager Laurent was very rude and dismissive, preoccupied and unhelpful, resort was untidy and the rooms neglected. Don't waste time while this manager is in charge
