  amazing staff. 80% of the services are from the family who owns the place, even the little girl "Amanda" was very entertaining. We spend long nights with the cook "Franz" and having a good time, he got extra hours to sleep the next day while the other staff doing their job.They are quick and learned you easily. One of the best thing is that their effort to organized the boat trips with the other guests in the house and even from other places guests so you can get a good deal, paying less for your self. We paid entrance fees to diff. Islands though, a bit disturbing but our last day went great with the boatmans beach "Mr. Dong". Wonderful island, sandy beach and NO FEE. We spend our long sunny day out in this place, drinking fresh coconut juice. We felt the Paradise. Only if we could stay longer, will for sure do. Very friendly staff, ask one of the girls in uniform what to do best in the area and where to go because they give you options and in cheaper version. Stayed here last 2015 Jan.

  roof top best location

  stunning sunset, big rooms and patio, water shortage though cool staff, very friendly and helpful. we missed the bar entertainment it was under run. we spend our nights on the rooftop until midnight and enjoyed watching the front bay and glittering stars at night. food taste good and affordable, overall we had a pleasant stay.

  Do they know basic housekeeping

  Pierhouse photographs beautifully but I have to conclude they have no standards for housekeeping. I stayed there 18 months ago. The super typhoon damaged roof windows and walls, it was quite a mess then! This time, we took several rooms and had a few meals. While bed was beautifully made, there was littered paper on the floor from guests before. Waste bins are not emptied daily, including those filled with used toilet paper, because they tell you not to flush toilet paper as it clogs the toilets. That stinks! Floors are not swept daily, some in public area look like they've not been cleaned in months! They had told me it was non-smoking hotel. Turns out they mean no smoking in the bedroom. They had said air conditioning was going to be installed, not yet. So wr slept with windows open. I Had my own room but I was accompanied with 7 varieties of insects: red soldier ants, black ants, flies, flying ants, grasshoppers, beetle and several sizes of moths! The dead insects and gecko droppings are not cleaned out! Franz the manager, tries very hard, along with another guy who seems to be security guard and willing to do everything. They cook and clean but not that well! But there are 2 ladies there, we're not sure of their role, but they specialize in sullenness. Perhaps the lodge could find 2 hardworking pleasant village ladies that can cook and clean than these young and pretty adornments! We will not be returning

  Horrible!

  Don't go! Completely isolated with nothing, not even food, water or toilet paper. Owner is MIA. Bugs in the bedroom and bathroom. Only one bus a day and it's a two hour ride from Coron otherwise it'll cost you over $60. Everything on their Facebook and Agoda is very misleading, it's doesn't have a restaurant, bar, wifi or tours.

  Dont recommend

  Despite the lady manager being very nice I simply cant recommend this place....too many weak spots! No toilet flush (which may be a common thing amongst the lodges there...cant really say), no toilet seat, cold shower, loud music from the owner at night, food is overcharged for the area... and despite being advertised there is no wifi. Dreadful decoration on our room...
