  Horrible customer service

  Rude man on reception. Not helpful or welcoming. Forced to cancel booking and stay at Rydges Cambelltown. Room, amenities and staff at Rydges were faultless. Have previously stayed at Picton Valley Motel and standard is very basic and overpriced for what you get.

  Creepy manager

  Attended a wedding yesterday, the male manger was extremely rude and unwelcoming felt very uncomfortable. Ceremony had just finished and the manager was on the ride on lawn mower trying to remove seating whilst photos were being taken. Verbally abused a disabled guest for parking. Felt like I was being watched because he was always just there.

  Quiet location just out of Picton

  oReasonable Price oNice furnishings in the room giving it bit of an old world feel. oNice large well presented Bathroom oBed is firm - think it has electric blanket though not required. oRoom has both Celling Fan and A/C. oLarge grounds - a previous review I read suggested good place to watch sunset - from gardens sun goes down behind a hill so not sure why someone thought that was good. oWould have liked more easily accessible power plugs to charge phone and camera batteries.

  Excellent hidden gem

  We stayed at the PVM it was awesome The motel really is a hidden gem , the rooms were clean beds were really comfortable and stunning gardens with rotunda loved the fact there is a Resturant next door (The Captains Quarters ) it is the best little getaway I highly recommend it ! Thanks Daryl and staff for making it a wonderful stay !! Roxanne and Pember

  Convenient, quiet location

  Manager, Daryl was helpful and friendly. Room was fresh, clean and beds were really comfortable. Quiet location-5 minutes to Picton centre. Electric kettle for cup of coffee (supplied). Microwave (not needed, but thoughtful). Toaster and small quiet fridge all supplied. Plenty of pillows plus extras and blankets (not needed, but again thoughtful). Plenty of outdoor seating on balconies-under cover (bit of rain) and large garden area with a Gazebo and BBQ. Close and handy enough place for mid-70's couple, to travel from Sutherland Shire to stay for a couple of days and refresh, after the draining covid-year 2020!! Thank you to Daryl and staff. Also enjoyed the Seafood Restaurant next door-great food and service. Would highly recommend Picton Valley Motel as an excellent place to stay. Peter and Margaret- February, 2021.
