You get what you pay forWe needed somewhere to stay just for few nights to fill the gap before we left phuket to go to Singapore we chose this as it was round the corner from my friends house so was convenient. On entering the reception to ask if they had a room and how much it would cost I was met with a relatively young looking thai girl/woman who said yes they had a room and it would be 700THB (I already knew it should be 600) anyway I was too tired to argue so agreed. I had to nip back to my friends to get my bags and passport and on returning another woman had written out the receipt for 600 a night and a 300 deposit for the key there was also the 100 baht change from my 1000 sitting on the desk waiting for me on seeing this the younger of the two pulled the 100 away and asked for my signature at this point I questioned the fact it said 900 total and she flipped!! got really angry with the other woman slammed the 100 back on the desk with my room key and that was that, so I wouldn't particularly say the customer service was top notch. Due to my friend living round the corner we left all our main luggage and valuables there and just took what we needed for the night to 7inn which we were pleased about after the first night there as we left in the morning to return to find that cups and toilet roll had been moved and a plastic carrier bag we had left had been rummaged through but they had not made the bed or done anything else so clearly just came in for a snoop around. The rooms are very basic tiny window no door to the toilet or shower just a curtain which was a bit of a pain considering the drains had blocked up and weren't smelling too pretty. This place is clearly used for husbands to either take their mistresses or for foreigners who have picked up bar girls for the night which wouldn't be a problem if the walls weren't so thin oh and also the mattress in our room could have done with being replaced as my girlfriend was about a foot below me due to the springs all being broken. Other than that the room was clean, air con was efficient.

The Good, the Bad,....and the WarningsThe Good the Bad. And the Warnings!! I have stayed at the Phuket 7-inn for 2 months May/ Jun 2014 and here it is WARNING !!! DO NOT LEAVE ANY VALUABLE IN YOUR ROOM. The Night Guard has visited my room at night while I was out. I caught him red handed, with his hands in my bag and money on the floor + caught on CCTV. He was fired only a month later. This is unacceptable THE BOSS.. seems to be a very nice person at first until you discover the bully that he is He can become vicious malicious. ill-mannered. rude and low class He stresses all his staff, the Guest, makes noise, leaves mess everywhere without consideration with the people paying to stay in HIS hotel. He is an builder from trade and has no clue about hospitality. Fortunately he is there sporadically and the beautifully hearted staff compensate for his grave misconduct. He basically can make you feel unwelcome if you stay for too long. DO NOT STAY FOR MORE THAN A MONTH STAFF Staff at the 7-inn is very friendly. No one really speaks English but you can get ways to be understood. They go out of their way to help and a smile on their faces most of the day. SERVICE It is a small hotel with not much service. Having said that, the rooms a cleaned everyday. It is a bit of a partial clean but after a few days they have done it all. ROOMS Room are functional and fresh, without decoration and a 3/5 bed. You will find a small TV, fridge, ventilator and working AC. There is no cupboard for your clothes and no door for the toilet. There is only a shower curtain for your privacy, which is the only item in the room that I do not find clean. Top floor rooms are nice and quiet Poolside rooms can be noisy if guests use it for a midnight bath CLEANING Baring in mind that you are not in 5 stars hotel, the standard of cleaning is above average. The only place not to put your feet in is the little toilet at the end of the swimming pool. This toilet will send you back to the state of the toilet at the end of a music festival. They offer a laundry service for about 100 bahts for a bag of 2kg, usually returned within 24 hours. LOCATION The Hotel is well situation and in a reasonably quiet little street. It has an easy access to Chalong main street (less than 10 mn walk), bank facilities and a big supermarket at HomePro Village, a complex around 5 minutes walk. Although the supermarket located in the HomePro Village is for the high-end customer. Coffee Corner and Breakfast facilities For everyone, it is advertised with coffee, tea, biscuits and fresh fruits but be glad to have some coffee. For long stay, the breakfast is not included but nobody tells you that you just get told off by the Big Boss one morning when he is not in a good mood. WiFi It is there.. but remember that you are in Thailand and that it is included.. ELECTRICITY It is not mentioned clearly and nobody tells you anything because of the language barrier. For monthly stay you will have to pay for your own electricity bill, which is 7 bahts per unit. You can expect around 300 bahts per month if you do not use the AC full power all day long. POOL This is bit of a sore point. It is a nice little pool but the water is not cared for properly by lack of knowledge. Some day you can use it. Some day it is a chlorine bath. Some day you better stay out of it. If you are to use the pool I would suggest taking some swimming goggles to protect your eyes from the chlorine and take a good shower after your dip.

OmgWhen we arrived at the front desk greeted us with a friendly smile, after that, the SHOCK! The room we booked through booking.com. com was -room horrors. nothing like the picture! Bathroom floor was so dirty that we were afraid to imagine a shower there. Door "balcony" that partitions the pool, so you can jump out of bed in the pool so that you popluta floor of the bathroom. torn bed sheets. Simply awful!

Basic but nice and clean hotelI stayed in the 7inn in Chalong for about 1,5 weeks. I was doing a rescue course and some fun diving with Freedom Divers, who have their office just across the street. So it was pretty convenient to stay in the 7inn. The rooms are basic (that's also why the price of a room is so low), but are very clean. You even have a little fridge and free bottles of drinking water. The walls of the rooms are thin though, so I recommend to bring earplugs, certainly in the weekends when it is more crowded in the hotel. The staff is super friendly and was always prepared to help. Although their English is not fluent, we managed to understand eachother :) Concerning the breakfast : it's also a basic breakfast, but I didn't need more. And it was include. Toast, spreads and coffee. They prepare eggs and sausage on demand. On weekend days, there are more thai people present so they also serve rice. The pool is little, but perfect to get a quick refreshment. I would say that you get value for your money in this hotel. And would recommend this hotel especially to divers who just need a clean and comfortable place to sleep.

World class apart from...1. Small rooms with no storage for clothes or luggae etc 2. Air con leaking onto my bed 3. Sink was blocked 4. Shower water covers the bathroom floor 5. No bathroom door, just a shower curtain 6. Pool resembles a swamp 7. Only one plug socket 8. Breakfast not the best I wouldn't recommend staying here for more than 4 months. But the rooms do get cleaned daily and there is a nice woman selling cheap thai food just over the road.
