  A lovely rural Thai retreat. 40mins drive from Chiangmai. Only half a dozen rooms, and each one is different, beautifully laid out. The rooms and beds are clean and comfortable. Food is of a good quality. The staff are polite and very helpful. If you want to do any tours just ask, and custom made activities can be organised. As previous person said, steps around retreat are high and maybe a problem for some people.

  Excellent views and great decor

  We went there to have lunch at their 360 degrees revolving restaurant. It was quite an experience. The hotel picked us up from our Belle villa resort which was about 5km away. The location is very quaint and the décor is very artistic. Being on a cliff top it commands a great view. The food was good and well prepared. The price was okay. I found that price of dishes in all restaurants of Chiang Mai are comparable. The resort is in middle of nowhere and hence commuting to the city is an issue.

  Delicious fresh food in unusual surroundings

  Their driver came and collected and returned us to our hotel at no extra charge (staying about 5 miles away) There is a steep driveway followed by quite a few steps leading up to the restaurant area but the food is worth the effort. Alternatively you can sit and eat in the amazing revolving room which in contrast to the rest of the exotic surroundings is quite contemporary. Both food and drink are reasonably priced and it is worth pacing yourself for dessert. Although not at all Thai, both the "Sizzling brownie" or the "Magic Balloon" are yummy - share one between two as they are large but spectacular chocolate desserts. The staff are very friendly and helpful too. If you are in this area, this place is well worth a visit and more than once!

  Owner helped us to make our stay pleasurable

  My partner and I from South Africa, booked in for a week. The setting was beautiful, near the forest and clean. The furniture and garden was extremely tasteful and done with impeccable taste. Quite romantic. The owner arranged a taxi for us at a good price, and gave us an itinerary of the best places to go around Chiang Mai accrding to what we are interested in. I am very grateful he did that! The royal rose tea garden is nearby and the forests are just ... magnificent....magical...unforgettable. I will never forget the smell of the forest driving up with a scooter....wow! Food is a bit pricey for me, but he has a lot on his menu! There are all kinds of places to eat as you walk/ ride along the road and the airport is 40 km away.

  Absolutely Impeccable 10/10 would recommend

  Although we did not stay here we came here everyday for food & beers! (stayed in Chiang Mai for 6 days) Excellent staff, amazing food not to mention an extensive menu with cheap beers, lovely views & just an all round epic resort. Would 10/10 recommend staying here .. regret we were unable to find this place prior to booking our holiday.
