    A gem in Echuca

    A friendly welcome from owners, Kerry and Gerard, who also offered helpful suggestions about eating places. The room was warm, clean and comfortable. It was walking distance to town. I would certainly stay here again. Highly recommended.

    Great location to town services within 30 minutes walk.Room was queen size it was very clean and roomy with great daily services. The owner Kerrie and Gerard are very helpful friendly and willing to assist you anytime. during our stay.

    My wife and I go to Echuca every year and have found this motel to be great value with friendly staff , clean rooms with a well maintained pool , all in walking distance to town .We have stayed here a number of times and look forward to it each year . Would definitely recommend . Mark

    Perfect for an overnight stay

    Extremely clean and very comfortable beds. Great for an overnight stay & within comfortable walking distance to town centre. Small pool area but perfect for a dip after a long drive. Owners take a lot of pride in their property.

    STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE. NOT WORTH THE DISRESPECT

    STAY CLEAR..Owners are horrible.our family booked 3 rooms to stay. The receptionist called me to ask what time I was checking in today. To which I replied that it was next month. I unserstand people put in wrong dates and there was no issue. I asked to have it moved to the correct date and was advised the price would be dearer as it was a weekend. I had no problem as it was only $20 more and matched the price we were going to pay online if we had of booked ourselves. Then I got a whole bunch of attitude saying I really should have checked the booking confirmation email that I was only sent the day before. I advised I hadn't bother to check it yet as I was staying over a month away. Then I was told she could have had other people stay that night. By this point I simply said I'm sorry this wasn't my fault I gave you the right dates. I had it all written down before I called. She told me I was being abusive and having a go at her. I was shocked. And assured her I wasn't but can't seem why I'm being blamed the way I was. She then hung up on me saying she was cancelling the whole booking. I called back and advised we didn't want to cancel and I didn't know why she was upset. I hadn't raised my voice or swore and she was the one having snipe comments at me for her mistake. She said she didn't want someone like me staying there angry as if I'd trash the rooms or something. I am 35 years old staying with my partner and parents! I was shocked. She agreed to changed the dates. Mumbling under her breathe to which I said this isn't the best customer service. She hung up. I had no idea what was happening and she had my credit card. I called back 4 times and she just would answer and hung up immediately!!! Finally I got through and spoke to a man. He was quiet nice and told me I didn't seem angry or rude at all. Probably because I'm not. I was just in shock how this could have even escalated to this point over nothing. He then said she was his wife and that she didn't want me staying. I said we need the rooms my family wanted to stay there I have done nothing wrong. He said he was caught in the middle and go my point of view but had to go with what she said. He said he would call back. I asked when and that I would have to ring around to find other accommodation now. He then raised his voice at me and said I was pissing him off..REALLY??? He clearly back 10 mins later and said we could stay. I said I was sorry she was upset and that she was obviously flustered with HER mistake but I'd like an apology. His answer..your lucky your getting to stay. After we hung up I informed our family and read some of the views about this lady and decided to calla round to find 3 rooms. One hotel had nothing the next did. Both receptionist there advised me they knew about this lady all to well and she was bonkers. That made me feel better as by this point I was just still thinking what the he'll just happened. I called back to cancel asking for a confirmation email asap. To which he replied u will get one when you get one.. jeez..never have I had an issue ever and never have I wrote a bad review. But they nearly destroyed our family holiday. First time since covid started we could all be in one state. Save your time and go else where. Its not worth that disrespect and hassle. And to the receptionist. Ues people make mistakes all the time..just own it or shut up. Don't go all crazy on an innocent customer who was allowing the mix up and willing to pay the new price. Most hotels would just match the price with the quoted rate and apologies for the mix up. It keeps people coming back.
