  Buen hotel, contentos con la elección

  Muy contentos con este hotel. Tienen piscina, red de Volleyball, billar, bar junto a la piscina, parking gratis (sujeto a disponibilidad), habitaciones grandes y modernas con terraza y aire acondicionado. Esta cerca del centro de Ayia Napa pero lo suficiente lejos como para que no te moleste el ruido de las discotecas. Muy recomendable.

  Brilliant holiday, great value for money

  We have just stayed at the Petrosana for a weeklong holiday booked through Jet2. The apartment was well equipped and spacious, with an attached balcony which had a table and chairs as well as a nice bathroom with the shower over a bath. As expected from the photos and other reviews, the double bed was two singles pushed together but we didnt find this to be an issue. Another point to note is that when booked through Jet2, aircon is included so we did not have to pay extra for that. The safe was around 12 for the week which we thought was reasonable. The housekeeper visited our room every day to clean and make the beds; we found the sink, mirror and toilet were often not cleaned but this wasnt a major issue. The kitchenette was good and had all of the equipment we required - one suggestion for improvement would be to provide a mini bottle of washing up liquid with a sponge. The pool was lovely, with a gradient depth and a pile of inflatables provided; we found it was quiet most days and we never struggled to find sun beds. The pool bar was reasonable too; we only ordered drinks so cannot comment on the food but the menu had a good selection and the cocktails were nice. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Check out was 12pm but our transfer to the airport wasnt until 8pm; we were allowed to stay by the pool if we wished and reception happily allowed us to leave our cases behind the desk which was a big help. In terms of restaurants we visited, Taipei Town down the road was a brilliant Chinese, and on the strip we went to Othellos which is Mediterranean and Farmers Tavern which is good for an authentic Cypriot meal. If you are looking to have days out, the location of the hotel is good for a wide variety of activities. We enjoyed WaterWorld Waterpark, the Sculpture Park, Cape Greco, Nissi Beach, and Konnos beach, all of which are easily accessed on the 101/102 bus route with many stops along the strip (1.50 per person for a single or 5 for a day ticket). We also booked the lazy day cruise on Aphrodite II through our Jet2 rep; this included transfers to and from the harbour and was a great day out. Overall we would highly recommend Petrosana due to its high quality rooms, lovely pool, and good location.

  Holiday

  Perfect for what we wanted , clean fresh and a lovely pool , bar was nice as was food we tried breakfast, only thing is its a bit quiet round the bar its lovely and people may stay longer if its lively but that said it was lovely, few bars close by , chinese down the hill is fantastic ,plus a short stroll to the strip. Id book again my second trip to Ayia Napa definitely not my last , I used air B and B last time but petrosana is lovely, parking isnt great we used some waste land couple of nights .

  Loved it!

  Ignore the bad reviews. We could not fault this place. Huge apartment which was well kitted out. Comfortable beds, I slept 10 hours the first night which is very unusual for me in a strange bed. Staff were very friendly and always chatty. Launderette facility was great. 3 for a wash and it was done in 30 minutes. Didnt need to bring so many clothes. There was also a tumble dryer as well. Yes you pay for the safe and the air con if you go with TUI but it is worthwhile having as even in October it was very hot. Cant comment on the food or the bar as we never spent any time in either. We spent most of our time exploring the beaches around the area. Recommended restaurants Taipei Town ( at the bottom of the road) Vassos ( in the harbour) and Levanta and the Olive Tree in Nissi Avenue. All in all a good holiday and the apartments were excellent. Is Ayia Napa for us? Probably not, getting too old!!!

  September break

  Lovely holiday , booked this as I left it late for my usual place , clean tidy , bar area lovely we had drinks and food , only little thing while there is music all day , I think food stops early I think more people would spend time there till they head out , pool great . Location spot on a short walk to bar street , few places with in five minutes walk , the Chinese is lovely. Id say its a little drive to Nissi beach , parking was tight but we parked a couple of nights on a bit of land next door , parking could be better few inconsiderate buggies taking up odd spaces but on the whole no big deal. Staff good shown to our room on arrival and yes Id stay again .
