  Unique experience

  The setting of the units is incredible. Plenty of privacy. We stayed in Unit 3, it is very spacious and well equipped. The photos dont do this place justice. There is wild life all around, bush turkeys, walibies, kookaburras and frogs a plenty. The wet areas need some TLC and travelling for NYE meant the restaurant was shut (there was no warning). Apart from that it was a dreamy stay!! Well worth the 1400km drive to stay there!

  We enjoyed our stay at the retreat, the accommodation was clean and very spacious. Large comfortable bed, with a spa bath which fits 2 comfortable. The staff were polite and helpful, great place to relax and unwind due to its forrest location. We stayed in Rosella 5 which appears to be the most secluded, however it is also the furthest away and has several steps leading down to the house. Breakfast is delivered each morning around 8.30ish and contains juice, bread,muesli and something hot, and is very satisfying. The furniture appears to be somewhat antique Chinese but is comfortable. There is a reverse cycle aircon which provides a great temperature wether your looking for coolness or warmth and there is a bio fuel fire for ambiance. Be aware though there is no cooking facilities, I cannot comment on the restaurant as we did not eat there. A couple of items on the wish list would be mozzie coils as the mozzies are a bit of a pain, and a small BBQ maybe a Webber baby q would be great so you could grill a steak. Overall excellent visit.

  Peaceful

  It's a very welcoming place. The rooms are calming and in a peaceful location. We heard no noise in the evening and had the best sleeps. The spa bath is a treat! Location is good, okay to walk to Main St. The breakfasts were satisfying and thoughtfully put together with local ingredients. Reception sells bath soaks if you want that are locally made for the spa. We stayed 3 nights, we should have stayed 4 nights to enjoy the room a bit more as we were mostly out during the day. WiFi weak in rooms so don't bring work with you!

  luxurious in nature

  We did the 3 night mid week stay. The ambience of Pethers is unrivaled. The Tree house accommodation is very large, with a huge balcony, spa bath for two, a fire place and plenty of privacy. If others were staying in one of the other tree houses we only knew about them at Dinner time. The only sounds were the birdsongs in the forest. The service and food in the restaurant top quality. Breakfast was served as a picnic delivered to the room around 8.30 each morning making the mornings very relaxed. Our alarm each morning was a bird who saw himself reflected in the floor to roof windows that faced the balcony. From your bed or the spa you still get to look out the at beautiful views. It's not luxury as in consumables provided . No robes, only 1 bar of soap, (shampoo and body wash was replenished each day) bathroom pretty ordinary... but the luxury of the setting compensates. I'd definitely recommend this place for a romantic retreat where you feel like your the only ones in the place.

  Over Priced

  I hope this email finds you well! Firstly I would like to thank all staff for their outstanding service and hospitality shown to us on our stay at your establishment last night. But its been eating at me since I left today that for the money your charging its just not up to scratch for a perceived 5 star accommodation! The room outlook beautiful the size of the rooms very generous. But the small details are where you let yourselves down the bathroom had tiles cracked and broken from the shower to the wall which caused me to cut my foot , also there is a lot of mold in the shower and a pungent smell coming from the shower drain , not very nice. As this was a gift from my children for Christmas and did cost a lot of money and I did expect a lot more. I hope this helps you improve your standards into the future but I cant give this resort a favourable review , thank you.
