Short But SweetI had the pleasure of spending a short but enjoyable evening at Perrymount Country Home Bed and Breakfast along with my husband and father. From the moment we first crossed the threshold, we felt nothing but welcomed and valued. Noreen was more than accommodating.Due to an unfortunate situation, we were victims of an unscrupulous travel company and lost all our money and bookings before we even arrived. Noreen honored our booking and the rate we had been quoted, quite generously. She was such a helpful and professional host, we were immediately comfortable and enjoyed both the beautiful surroundings and the warm, cozy atmosphere. Noreen even went the extra length to arrange for lodging for us at another bed and breakfast for the additional time of our vacation and personally lead us to this establishment while we followed her in our vehicle to ensure we had no trouble getting there! If you find yourself needing a place to relax or have a good meal, I recommend Toss Byrnes of Inch Pub which is just a short walk from Perrymount. You can get yourself a pint and a good meal by the fire! Perrymount Country Home is a gem, and the professional excellence paired with the unparalleled compassion of the host, Noreen, make this place a must stay! The unexpected kindness of people like Noreen is the kind of thing that can restore ones faith in humanity. Until we have the great fortune to visit again, I will reflect with satisfaction on my stay with Perrymount Country Home Bed and Breakfast.

Just what the doctor orderedMy wife and I stayed at this wonderful B. and B. for two nights recently. Our stay could not have been more enjoyable. The house was impeccably clean: our room was warm and comfortable; food was excellent and proprietor Noreen could not have been more welcoming or more helpful.

MehVery small room. Old, saggy bed. Smallest TV I've seen in 20-30 years. Uncomfortable foam pillows. Had to ask for shampoo and wash cloth. The proprietress gives off a vibe of not really liking having to do this b&b thing anymore. Nice enough breakfast, but if I ever were too return to the area, would look for lodging elsewhere.

home from homewe had a lovely stay at Perrymount Country Home and Noreen was a great host. The breakfast has a good variety to choose from and the homamade brown bread was exceptional..the cost was very reasonable in comparison to the majority of hotels in the area.I would highly recommend this B&B.

First trip to Ireland highlightI owe Noreen 3 reviews on her B&B. My first trip to Ireland was May 2013. My wife had been to Ireland over a dozen times and really wanted to show the island off to me. She had indicated that even though we have reservations to B&B's preplanned, that there can be times we need to call or knock on the door of a B&B and ask if there is vacancy. Our first night was a time to risk it. By chance at the end of our first day we drove by Perrymount. My wife said we should try this place. We knocked on the door and it was answered by Noreen. She said a room was available. We were asked to come in and sit in her living room. We were served homemade baked goods and tea. It was something out of a stereotypical Irish movie, but my wife said the good, old fashioned B&B's do this. We sat and had a short conversation with Noreen and were shown to our room. The room was good. It had all the amenities we needed and a bed. I'm not much of a hotel room snob, I just need something to get the job done. Toss Byrnes next door was still open, but we did not attend because we were exhausted and in bed by 8:30P. Breakfast in the morning was incredible. Great space, great food. We were out early and Noreen accommodated making us our meals earlier than anticipated. I can't speak to how much of a grand experience this was and how well it setup the rest of my first time in Ireland. We returned on two more occasions.
