Lovely time!Due to Corona virus we had to change our holiday destination. Greece was safe and so we went to peridis. What a lovely hotel! The people are so kind! Hotel looks great and especially Albert from the entertainment team made the entire holiday a true warm and nice experience! Thank you both Albert and Ali for making us feel welcome and at home! The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Although we ware located next to the busy streets, because of the doors it was no bother to us during the night. We slept very well and the traffic never kept us up. We spent a lot of time at the pool and we really enjoyed each and every day there. Again a big thank you to Albert for hosting a nice entertainment show each evening even though it was quiet! Weve had a blast....

Great hotel - shame about the entertainment guyMy partner and I stayed at the Peridis Family Resort from 30th August until 6th September. On arrival we were instantly upgraded to a superior suite which was beautiful with two balconies and a large four poster bed - the only thing I would add to the room would be a full length mirror, however there was a smaller one above the dressing table which was ok. The pool area was really great, surrounded by padded sunloungers and parasols with plenty room to sunbathe (at the time we visited there were less people staying at the hotelthan usual due to COVID regulations so we pretty much had pick of the seats). The main pool is very deep and I could only just stand up at the far end (Im 57). There is a second pool which isnt as deep and would be better for children or those who arent strong swimmers. The staff on the whole were faultless - thank you to the lovely bar men and breakfast staff, the ladies on reception and Petra who offered amazing spa treatments for a very reasonable price. I had a full body massage and would thoroughly recommend. Breakfast was sometimes a little slow as the staff were serving people at the buffet one by one rather than being able to help yourself, but this cant be helped in current circumstances and any delays were only ever due to greedy people with eyes bigger than their bellies and plates piled far too high. The ladies did a great job to ensure social distancing measures were met. The reason that I would rate the hotel as good rather than excellent is due to a negative experience we had with Albert from the entertainment team. One night when we were in the bar he told us about Mr Peridis competition he was hosting the following night and tried to encourage my partner to join. We had planned to go out for the evening as we did every night, but because he was quite pushy I told him that if we were there we would join, but we were almost certainly going out. This was a big mistake. He took as red that we would be joining and came to sign us up the following morning at breakfast. I told him again that we were going out for supper and drinks and his response was that we should go out earlier and come back. I repeated that we would be going out and would not be around. When we arrived back at the hotel after midnight, Albert was having a drink with another couple staying at the hotel and decided to come over to our table and hand my partner a certificate for the competition. He then told us that 9 people had signed up for the competition and that only 2 had shown up to take part. He continued to tell us how much work goes into preparing for these events and basically insinuated that hed wasted his time. I got the impression that he was trying to make us feel guilty despite the fact I had made it clear we wouldnt be around. He finished by saying hey, its your holiday so do what you want in a manner which I felt was quite abrasive. Over the next three days my partner and I said hello to Albert whenever we saw him (which was often as he spent alot of time at the pool area trying to sign people up to various activities) but he didnt acknowledge either of us which we found rude. I understand that it must be hard when there are fewer guests than normal and there arent many people who want to stay in the hotel on an evening to watch the entertainment. It must be soul-destroying if youve put your heart into preparing a good show for only one couple to turn up to watch. I do not appreciate being dictated to or made to feel guilty for enjoying myself exactly the way I want to on my holiday, especially when I have made my intentions clear. As a guest I expect to be treated respectfully just as I would always treat hotel staff respectfully. This unfortunately tainted our experience at the resort. Other than that, couldnt really fault the hotel which is close enough to the town to walk with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants and a beautiful harbour. There was plenty choice at breakfast with cooked items, fresh fruit, continental cheeses, cold meats, pastries and cereals on offer. Service was of a high standard and staff were all friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel and also the spa for anyone looking to relax.

A gem of a hotel - the best of everything! We loved our visit here. Agree with all comments about the pool, cleanliness, friendliness and the delicious food (huge portions)! The staff all deserve a mention. Ali - thanks for making us feel so welcome. Petra was a lovely kids entertainer who sadly had to return home only 2 days into our visit, our kids (age 2, 5 & 7) loved her. Albert offered a great variety of activities and made up for Petras absence with a fabulous talent show and a hilarious mr & Mrs night, I also took him up on the Greek lessons and salsa! He was warm and friendly and worked super hard to make sure all had a great time. The spa was amazing, lovely lady and very reasonably priced treatments. The local area had loads to offer, one of the highlights was a day long pirate ship boat trip where we visited 3 islands. Amazing! We were sad to leave - hope to return one day :)

Lovely placeWe visited this lovely hotel on the 10th for 8 days. The room was more than adequate with a separate dining room and kitchen. The room was cleaned every day if that's what you required.Let them know the night before if you want the room cleaned. The pool area was immaculate with a large pool. There was also other pools including a lovely family area. The breakfast was fine but due to covid the staff had to serve you.The Staff did a great job although the hotel had very few customers. It was a shame about the numbers but this is obviously a difficult time. All in all it was a pleasant if quiet stay and I would definitely return and sample the entertainment.Thank you all at the Peridis.

Fantastic holiday at Peridis Family ResortWhen we arrived at the beautiful and modern hotel, which is under the management of the very pleasant director, Mrs Heidi, we had a warm welcome by Mrs. Ellen at the reception. We were so lucky, that the hotel upgraded us to the executive suite at the main building. Fresh fruits and cold wine awaited us in the gorgeous and spotless suite, which consisted of a very spacy living room/kitchen with all the necessary amendments, very spacy bathroom and a big bedroom with a unique and beautiful four-poster-bed. The mattress was fantastic and we made the best sleep. From the bedroom we had direct access to a private, spacy pool through our own private terrace, which was furnished with a modern table with matching chairs and sunbed. It is clear that attention has been given to every detail of the immaculate hotel, where all the staff is extremely friendly. Breakfast had an abundance of delicacies for every taste with fresh local ingredients. We are rather picky with our coffees, but we got the most tasty coffee - just to our liking. The breakfast is served at the main pool opposite the main building - a very cozy, romantic and yet modern styled place, where we also relaxed in the evening with our cold drinks. It is the ideal place to calm down. The hotel has an abundance of possibilities for activities as spa, tennis court, four swimming pools, children's playground, adults-only terrace furnished with romantic sofas/beds. Due to our very short stay in Kos, we unfortunately did not have time to enjoy the spa. The hotel is ideally situated with just a few minutes walk to the sea side and to the historical center of Kos town. The hotel was very helpful when we wanted to rent a car, and the staff was very helpful giving tips about what to see and were to go. We definitely recommend this hotel to both couples and families, and we are looking forward to visiting Kos again and staying in this hotel.
