  Not worth requested money

  Well... that hotel was arranged for us by our getting married in Elblag friends. The price of the hotel room not at all correspond standard (no ventilation, poor heating, really poor sound insulation among others). The toilet was dirty, the shower head could easily participate in Cilit Bang advertisement... and probably wouldn't get clean in the end. There was maul on the shower curtain... and the sink was dirty. Lights around the mirror were not working... and the heating was shut off upon our arrival (just above 0 C outside). The stairs are terrible... and no help was offered with luggage carrying. We were not informed about breakfast times or internet password. The internet was not working in the room. And the view thru a really dirty window was towards the wall of another building (which was like... 5 cm away). If you don't have any high expectations for your money - that's just for you. Especially if breakfast choice is not the most important thing for you... Oh, don't forget about old bread for breakfast! Our room not at all reminded of the photos on hotels website.

  Great service

  Stayed at this pensionat for 3 days every month on the last 6 months. The staff was always helpful, even prepared breakfast for us when we had to leave at 3am to go to airport. Certainly will stay here again on my next contract.

  Very nice!!

  Friendly staff, very tasty breakfest. Not new but very home like. I liked hotel but I dont like this tripadvisors minimum 200 letter rule. Some things don't take so many words so fix this issue from your app.

  Probably a four and a half

  Stayed for one night last night, in the family room on the top floor. The most efficient check-in process ever. We were just given the key and asked what time we might want breakfast. The lovely young lady offered to help us with our bags, but we didnt need it. I then popped down to the bar to have a cheeky beer and she was lovely there too. Breakfast was really good. And I loved meeting who I presumed was the owner on check-out, which was again fuss free. I parked directly at the front of the hotel for free (overnight) and the location is unbeatable for restaurants/ bars/ cathedral and the river. My wife thought the beds could be better, and noted a bit of black mould in the bathroom, but you arent paying for The Goring, are you? My wife is more perceptive than me about inter-personal interactions. She reckons that there must be a policy of the hotel to help more disadvantaged members of the local community, in two ways that she thinks she noticed. If she is right, and had she have told me what shed noticed before driving away, Id happily have paid double.

  Conveniently located in old town of Elblg, basically next door to the egluga Ostródzka, which offers trips on Kana Elblski (Elblg Canal) - top attraction in this part of Poland, also just round the corner form the cathedral and large market square-like place in front of it. Hotel comprisses of two narrow town houses, with restaurant open to the public at the bottom (outdoor seats take most of small terrace) - that's also the place we had our very tasty breakfasts. Our room was on top floor, called family room, with good wifi. Steep stairs leading to it, no lift. Car parking spaces on a one way street just in front of the hotel, free during weekens. Great place to stay when visiting Elblg.
