  Another wonderful visit to the Krinserhof

  We've stayed at the Krinserhof a few times over the past years, and have never been disappointed - in fact, we wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else in Seefeld. It is a warm, friendly family run hotel in a peaceful location. The food was perfect for us as cross country skiers - the hotel was comfortable and clean. Everyone was very welcoming - and we'll be back next year. Thank you so much Freddie

  Fantastic stay at the Krinserhof

  We booked a last minute deal with Crystal to the Krinserhof after reminiscing about how we met and fell in love 25 years ago working in Austria and before we knew it, we were booked on a flight to Innsbruck and a week's stay at the Krinserhof. We absolutely loved our stay there. The hotel is situated in the most perfect location, backing onto woodland filled with wonderful wildlife, we even spotted black squirrels and deer. We booked a balcony room and were very lucky to wake up to the most spectacular view from our room of the mountains and village of Seefeld with its twinkling lights shining back at us. We were in complete awe of the view and were mesmerised from the morning sunrise to the evening sun setting over the mountains. Friedl (Freddy) was so friendly and accommodating, always laughing and making sure the guests were well looked after, nothing was too much trouble for him. The hotel was lovely and warm, quiet too, no noise, just peaceful and very relaxing. Breakfast was lovely with a selection of cereals, meats, cheeses, juices, bread etc and eggs cooked to your liking. We went on this holiday to relax and soak up the beautiful surroundings; there was so much to see and do as non skiers. Seefeld was a short flat walk away once you got to the end of the hotel drive (1 mile to the Olympic centre from the hotel so not far at all) and the ski slopes of Roschutte, a short walk in the other direction - a perfect location. There is a bus stop close by but we didn't use the local ski bus service which was free as we enjoyed the walk in and out of the village. Once we had breakfast, we were full until our evening dinner where you were served a 3 course typical Austrian meal and a few nights of the week we had an additional salad buffet which was very tasty. Drink prices in the hotel were more or less identical to every bar and cafe we went to during our stay - around 7-8 Euros for a beer and wine. There is no lift in the hotel but that was not a problem to us. The shower was really powerful with plenty of hot water and rooms really warm for the freezing outdoor temperatures. We absolutely loved our stay here, our holiday was beyond perfect and we would definitely like to return again. Thank you to everyone at the Krinserhof for making our holiday extra special.....

  Awesome Place to stay in nice quiet location!

  Came here for a quiet week to try out my skills in the various ski activities that Seefeld has to offer. Was extremely lucky to hit the back end of the Nordic World Championships taking place this year. Watched the cross country final with some Swedish fans and saw good old Musgrave finish 8th! This instantly inspired me to focus my week around cross country skiing as this dovetails well with my marathon running. The Krinserhof was an ideal location to enable me to fulfill this goal. Freddy, the owner was so helpful in ensuring I had everything required for my skiing activities, for example I almost set off for my private cross country lesson with downhill skis! Oops - silly me and thank goodness Freddy was on hand that morning as he always is; ensuring all his guests leave for the day feeling confident, wearing appropriate attire (!), and with a smile on their faces! The breakfast is incredible and should leave nobody feeling hungry for most, if not all of the day. Fresh juices, fruit, cereals, fresh bread, tea, coffee, hot chocolate. . . . .ham, lovely cheeses, boiled and scrambled eggs; caters for even the fussiest of tastes and if you want anything different you simply need to ask. Freddy will always oblige. The Krinserhof prides itself in providing traditional Austrian fare. The menu is clearly displayed at breakfast time each morning. Should guests wish to have anything different, then they simply need to tell Freddy. All in all, amazing value for money, with total flexibility for everything this charming guesthouse offers! :)

  Skiing in Seefeld

  A quaint , family run , friendly home from home hotel . Stunning views , close to ski lifts , good home cooked Austrian food , comfortable , eclectic and a very friendly, helpful Faulty Towers type proprietor who made our trip great fun with lots of laughs . I look forward to going back .

  Lovely and very Austrian

  Really enjoyed our stay at the Pension Krinserhof and will definitely go back. It is a genuine Austrian gem and nothing is too much trouble for Freddie the owner who looked after our party of 6 wonderfully. We loved the half board option which offered authentic Austrian food in the fantastic dining room setting. It is not pretentious in any way and offers more than what I expected from a simple pension. The Krinserhof is just a short yomp in ski boots to the Rosshutte lift system and either a bus ride or 15 minute walk into central Seefeld. We were too tired to go out much although we did enjoy some fabulous time in the Olympiabad pool in Seefeld but if you are too exhausted to walk home a taxi from the centre cost about 8 euros. The rooms are simple and even though we were the last booking before the end of the winter season, all was still in excellent order. It is classed as a Pension and there is a homely simplicity to it as fits its rating. Looking forward already to a return visit.
