  friendly but tired

  I have stayed at this pension before and have enjoyed it both times. The first time, about two years ago, we stayed in an apartment with kitchenette etc and was very pleased with it. This time we were put into one of the rooms downstairs due to my wife having issues with the stairs and found the room a bit of a mismatch with regards to the furniture, and there was no kitchenette, the room also was in need of a good cleaning and the bed was broken. When I approached the owner they were more than happy to offer another room, upstairs, unfortunately, so we stayed where we were. The couple that run the hotel are very friendly and nothing is too much for them. I would recommend this hotel on the grounds of the welcome recieved more than its facilities, if you are fussy, dont go. If you are realistic, give it a try if you are in the area.

  Fallingbostel Revisited

  My wife and I (early 60's) stayed here for a week in July 2014 on a B&B basis. The hosts were very friendly and loved engaging in conversation. The accommodation was spotless but a little pricey. The only thing missing on the continental breakfast was the Flag that went on the top of the food. It was fantastic. The location is an easy walk to the village center and the same to get to the old British Garrison.

  Somewhat outdated but clean and most friendly

  The very friendly owner welcomed us and offered us two rooms to choose from. One was with a kitchenette (on first floor, no elevator) so we chose that (allowing us to arrange our own breakfast, etc.). The room is outdated (old brown pattern tiles in the bathroom and such) but very clean. The room was also very spacious, as well as the bathroom. Sunny balcony. Free WiFi and parking facilities. Restaurant/biergarten nearby. Close to interesting attractions such as Heide-Park and Walsrode bird park.

  Nice cosy hotel with nice service

  An older hotel but nice and clean. Nice little kitchen and bathroom. We had a double room. the beds could use a topmadras for better comfort. Very good breakfast nice served on your table with eggs, youghurt, 3 different sort of bread, cheese, honey and lot of other stuff to put on the bread. Good coffie and jouice. It's not luxury, but if you just need a place to sleep and relax, this is a very good place for the cost of it. Nice price for all of this.

  Cosy place

  Had one night in this hotel on our tour, we enjoyed the nice quiet place, friendly staff, the rooms had a nice size and comfortable beds.Free parking and wifi.Few miles from the highway, an ideal place to stay on the go
