  Very well looked after

  A small, clean, personal pension in a good location. The owner knows the area very well and had almost endless suggestions of what to do, where to go, what to see and where to eat. All his recommendations worked out well for us. Nicer people I don't think you will find. We're already looking forward to a return visit. Thank you!

  Dave is the best!!!

  We came to visit a local beer fest, and stayed for two nights. The owner, Dave, was extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay. He pointed us toward great sights to visit and arranged transportation for us. He even let us use his laundry machine. Very important if your are traveling with a small suitcase through Europe! The place looks very typical Bavarian. It is kept clean. The beds are comfy and every room had what it needed. Breakfast was good. What sets this place apart from other pensions is that Dave speaks English and is very helpful! If you are on your way to Prague from Germany, this is the place to stop!!!

  Friendly English speakers in a comfortable setting close to the Bavarian National Forest

  Our whole family loved the Pension Heidi. The family who runs it went out of their way to make our children feel happy and comfortable. After a week of hotels the kids had become homesick, so it was very nice to see them relax and feel at home in a warm, welcoming setting. We also appreciated how our hosts made excellent suggestions for the rest of our trip, not just around Zwiesel and the Bavarian National Forest, but for other places too. In this part of Germany we did not find English speakers as easily as in others, but that was another reason why we greatly appreciated the Pension Heidi!

  a little gem

  For a totally chilled out experience, assisted by Dave and Alex, then you need look no further than Pension Heidi. Great Value and comfort set in silence and its the perfect place to R&R, It has a sauna to ease any aching muscles.

  Pleasant stay

  We spent one night at Pension Heidi while on a two-day trip in the Bavarian Forest. The pension is located around 15 minutes on foot from Zwiesel's centre. It is a 10 minute drive to the visitor centre "Haus der Wildnis" and around 20 minutes to the Arber cable car, with which you can get to peak of the highest mountain in the Bavarian Forest. We got a very big room with a nice view and a comfortable bed. Good breakfast buffet. The owners were very friendly, helpful and gave us very useful advice about Zwiesel and surroundings.
