Northern hospitality and a highlight of our trip to Japan!
This small hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Dinners and breakfasts were delicious and generous; and we were made to feel welcome despite not speaking japanese. The food was restaurant quality and actually better than some more expensive hotels. Free pick up / drop off to the ferry and likewise on after dinner trips to the small local onsen, as well as free bicycles to use on the nearby bicycle track which winds around the northern half of the island. Rishiri itself is remote, quiet and very beautiful. The hotel is on the outskirts of the main town and a relaxing place to be, with view of the forsest and the mountain (Rishiri-Fuji). We visited at the very start of spring, just before the full wildflower season, which must be amazing. We highly recommend pension green wind!

Friendly and clean stay
The hosts are very friendly and we used App to translate. Dinner is prepared delicately and is fabulous, with fresh uni one of the main highlights. Clean room and memorable stay, with bicycles free to use. Would come back again hopefully with another different season.
