Great escape from Prague's chaos & spot on budget choice.
Edvin's Pension had some of the cheapest double rooms on offer in Prague. Sure, the location is inconvenient, especially for those wanting to be in the thick of the action. But its easy to get there by metro and a 10-min walk, and night buses pass after the metro closes. The house is set within a peaceful garden in a residential suburb, and is just bliss to return here after the chaos of traversing Central Prague. Its also ideal if you're driving, as you can park here and take public transport into town. The room was slightly basic but still perfectly fine, with lots of space, comfortable bed, clean attached bathroom, small sitting room attached and a balcony. The breakfast buffet was generous and tasty too, and the owners friendly and helpful with all, especially when the online agent failed to notify him about our reservation. So if you want to be 20 mins from the action but still have a peaceful place to sleep, you cant go wrong with Edvin's.

Small and cozy hotel, quiet atmosphere, good staff.
We arrived in the beginning of October and stayed for a week. It is lovely hotel, they call it pension because it offers a quiet atmosphere. It is relatively cheap and offers standard services. The furniture is not new but very clean. We also got a room with view to green forest and bathroom with Jacuzzi. We got a fridge and a kettle in our room, so you can enjoy a cold czech beer or tea in the evening. The staff was very friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was tasty and varied from day to day.The hotel is 7 min walk from Budejovicka metro station and it is 20 min ride to the center. You have a good mall near the hotel with fast food and shops. All in all, if you are not looking for fancy, renovated hotels but for a good place to sleep, this place should satisfy you, especially in its relatively low price.
