  Una joya de hotel

  Un hotel boutique, decorado con mucho gusto. Cada ambiente cálido que invitaba al descanso, lectura y conversación. Rodeado de lindos jardines pequeños rodeados muchos arboles. Ideal para el descanso y deleite visual. Y la atencion soberbia, amigables y eficientes. Hermoso comedor rodeado de un verdor hermoso.

  Interesting vacation

  The staff at the hotel cannot be faulted - from reception on booking through to the waitresses and bar staff - all were delightful and professional even behind the necessary masks and a wonderful credit to the hotel The hotel had carried out the COVID-19 requirements exceptionally well and that is a great credit to all concerned The cleanliness in the common areas was absolutely exceptional and the bedrooms had been superbly presented to comply with current requirements. The cocktails and wine list were excellent Breakfast was delightful even allowing for the obvious restrictions imposed during this difficult time The quality of the dinner was very good but oh how I wished for more quantity especially considering the price - both the market and a la carte menus need quantity added to the main courses Please remember to light the candles each every evening to create ambiance in the restaurant Whilst I appreciate these many people require fine dining to be held in silence, the solemnity of the lounge and dining room was mausoleum like and background music would have enhanced the atmosphere- a pianist at weekend would have been a delight and added to everyones experience

  All very good

  We spent 2 nights here and cannot fault the hotel. Good one way system through the hotel for social distancing. Warm welcome on arrival and spotlessly clean room. We had dinner one night - good choice of food. Only one niggle as a vegetarian was the fact there was a limited choice for cooked breakfast eg no veggie sausages. Good to see the owners taking an active part in the running of the hotel. We will return

  A hotel with a strange unwelcoming feel.

  Reception is unmanned and you ring the bell and ring again and again and eventually someone comes obviously annoyed at the interruption. This happened several times in our four day stay. Finding someone to get a drink in the evening was also difficult. Our room was comfy but very dark with low power bulbs - difficult to read. Wifi was poor. The one saving grace was superb food beautifully presented.

  Unwelcome

  Lovely place and grounds but having paid £25 per night for our small dog,Yes £25 ! we felt so unwelcome. Had a room over the kitchen that had access up the fire escape Couldnt take dog through corridors ,had to walk round outside of hotel . Had to feed her outside too. Felt like lepers. Meals and drinks very expensive This is NOT a friendly hotel . Escaped to the George pub which was the exact opposite
