  Outstanding accommodation for couples

  We recently stayed at the BoatHouse for our Honeymoon and it was perfect! On entering the house from the generous deck we found it beautifully furnished, a fully equipped kitchen, creative lighting, excellent air conditioning, an incredibly (huge and) comfortable bed, plenty of hanging and shelf space for clothes, luxurious heated floors in the bathroom, gorgeous views of the bush and bay, and delicious complimentary wine, choccies and other treats. The house was so private- you wouldn't see another soul for days if you so desired it! The hot tub on the deck was a real treat- the cool days would not bother us. We found ourselves spending many an evening sitting quietly in the tub, gazing out to the stunning bay of tranquil water, spotted with lights of Dover. The property had multiple interesting and easy bush walks on it, where we came across loads of wildlife and gorgeous natural scenes. There were only small towns near by which was perfect for us, but if you were hoping for busy streets and night life, its probably a bit too far from Hobart for you to enjoy that. I highly recommend this property for couples seeking a relaxing, private time away together.

  A MUST...!!!

  The Boat House Selected this gem to start off our mini honeymoon, only negative I have is I wish we stayed longer! You come across the property via a dirt road The property itself is covered in bushland and theres plenty of native wildlife around. The Boat House is absolutely stunning had a huge deck and a spa to over look the ocean, was so nice sitting back cracking a bottle and enjoying the views Inside the complementary goodies were fantastic. Kitchen had everything you needed, Heating and cooling was great, we also had the fire place going, the bed was massive and so comfortable. Everything about this place is stunning!!!

  The Boathouse - a tranquil haven

  We loved our time at the Boat House. Spacious, private, everything you need for a very comfortable and luxe stay. Perfectly built as a hideaway for a couple. The bush tracks are left natural so you can enjoy a leg stretch in wilderness right from your doorstep. Thank you for sharing!

  Short honeymoon at the Cape House

  We decided we wanted peace and quiet on our honeymoon and we got it at the Cape House. We spent 5 nights here. The property is very private and well maintained. We had mixed weather but that was no issue, for a property like this. The spa outside was amazing. The fireplace was awesome. The location is just outside Dover, so you have access to basic shops and restaurants, and it's a great spot to access the Southern most part of Australia. We were lucky to see the Southern lights on our last night. The bush walks around the property were a nice touch. The only criticism is that the lock on the front door was fiddly and there was a very friendly possum who could be considered a bit scary.

  Cape House amazing

  We spent five nights here - it is an amazing house and so comfortable. The views are gorgeous and the estate is quite large with lots of beautiful walks. The kitchen is well equiped and has a nice coffee machine so you can make a latte in the morning. There is a laundry with washer and dryer. Living room is huge - lots of space and netflix available on the TV. We had the property let as one bedroom - the master bedroom is very comfortable - great bed. The location is great for exploring south Tasmania - Hartz national part, Tahune , Hastings Caves, Geeveston. Had a lovely lunch at Home Hill in Huonville.
