  SWCP stop

  We stayed here for one night while walking the South-West Coast Path. Jan gave us a friendly welcome, and the room was clean and comfortable. Pengilley is very well located in a quiet street, close to the centre, with a choice of eateries within a short walking distance. Great breakfast, possibly the best fried mushrooms we have experienced while walking the SWCP.

  Excellent accommodation

  This is a great place to stay, ideally located to the centre of Newquay. Jan welcomed me at short notice and put me at easy straight away. Clean and comfortable accommodation, lovely room. Would highly recommend. Thank you Jan for the lemon drizzle cake, I will return the box on a return visit.

  Great get away

  This B&b is great. Clean, tidy and welcoming. Owner was informative really made it a home from home. Rooms were compact but clean and had everything you needed. Breakfast was really good. Better then expected. All the fruit and cereals you could eat and a really well cooked full breakfast. Sausages were amazing Thank you. If I come down this way again I will stay again As per other reviews. Parking. If you see a space get it dont mess around. Your close to the beach and they are a hot commodity!

  Pretty awful in Pengilley

  We were very disappointed in our stay in this B/B. The room had a musty smell, clearly it should have been a single, but 2 beds were squashed in. The actual beds were awful, no springs, ancient! The room was noisy, music going on all night. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. The cereals were uncovered, I felt instantly ill after eating what I thought were prunes, which were uncovered. When we returned to ask for our water bottles to be filled, the breakfast room was filled with smog from the kitchen! Never again!!!

  Short stay

  Spend 1 night.well located and friendly welcome from owners.room fine and good breakfast. Close to bus station and of course to beautiful beaches.plenty of restaurants and bars close by. Newquay aa nice town mainly for surfers.
