  Beautiful and peaceful place.

  I really enjoyed my stay at Pelangi Estate, I was there on a short trip and was really well looked after by the staff (and the resident pup, Sooky) my room was luxurious. Great setting and not far from Ubud, highly recommended!

  A group of 10 of us recently stayed at Pelangi Estate, 9-15 Aug. The estate is in a quiet village outside Ubud. It has a perfect location being within a 10minute drive of Ubud yet tucked away in the village area so it feels like 'real' Bali. The property overlooks a stream and some rice terraces that can be seen from one of the extra sleeping lofts above the master suite. It is surrounded by glorious flora and fauna. Every night we fell asleep to the frogs' chorus and woke to birdsong. Surprisingly few mosquitoes too. Our party occupied all 3 villas with plenty of space and beds left over. At a push the property can accommodate 20 people but this means sharing some rooms so it would be advisable to check bed configurations if you have a large party. The master suite is not air-conditioned. Do NOT let this deter you from booking. There is a portable aircon unit in the room, there are also several fans. My husband and I spent one week in this room and never once needed to use the aircon as the room was naturally cooled at night by the natural drop in temperature. All villas are beautifully decked out in Balinese style which for us was a huge plus which added to the overall experience as other properties I looked at to rent in Bali were typical sterile beige boxes. The staff are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble. The villas are spacious and comfortable. Food was great and can be ordered a day in advance. If you want a quiet retreat, to relax by the pool and explore a typical Balinese house before heading off into the bustle of Ubud this place is for you. Drivers can be easily and quickly arranged to take you wherever you want and Wira, the manager, is an excellent, knowledgable and unobtrusive host. Highly recommended.

  Amazing paradise

  We booked out this whole estate for my brothers wedding. It was absolute paradise! We were amazed with this house, it was huge, well designed and amazingly decorated. The staff were amazing! All so friendly and happy. Our room was huge! So beautiful with the best open sliding doors with an amazing view and little stepping stones down to the river. I cannot even explain the beauty of this property. It was one of the nicest places I have ever been in my life! It was right on a waterfall and river with beautiful gardens and rainforest. The wedding was held out on the deck area over the river and it was spectacular! It is paradise, it is magical, like living in a palace! I would recommend this place to everyone, I would love to come back one day and stay again. It is very secure, peaceful and relaxing. The pools were both great, they have honestly thought of everything here including little swinging chairs down by the river. I enjoyed every second here and I have beautiful photos for memories! Thankyou staff, you were all fantastic!

  complete Sancuary

  A group of us stayed here October 10-15, 2015 on the 2nd part of our yoga retreat in Bali. this Estate was breath taking. Over looking a small river. What a retreat. I recommend staying in the main house because of the access to both pools right outside your bedroom. the House Help were amazing very friendly and warm. what an experience !

  Gem

  Group of 3 families consists of 6 adults and 5 children booked this villa to have a relaxed one before heading to busy Kuta. Enjoyed every moment right from the moment we arrived. It was a low season i guess, it was almost empty and we felt that the whole place is just for us. we booked the biggest villa available in the resort and had fun. Surrounded by lush green, took a shower in the stream....simply great with some good company too.
