  Awesome hotel in Courmayeur

  My wife and I recently did half of the Tour du Mont Blanc. We started and ended at the Hotel Pavillon in Courmayeur. Our stay at this hotel was exceptional and we loved our stay. First of all, the service was tremendous. The people at the front desk were friendly, warm and knowledgeable. And they spoke English which was a nice bonus for us! Secondly, the location of the hotel is excellent. It is located in downtown Courmayeur and close to all the restaurants and shops. Thirdly, the breakfast was delicious and fulsome. We never left hungry. And the price of the hotel was very reasonable. Overall, a great experience. So why only 4 stars and not 5 stars? While our room was spacious and the outside deck large, it was all about the bed and lack of sleep for me. The bed was very hard and the pillow was very soft. This made for two nights whereby I didn't get any sleep. Additionally it was very warm when we were there and there is no air conditioning. Sleeping with the windows open was not an option due to the street noise. Having said all of this, i would still highly recommend this hotel. When we are back next year to complete the other half of the TMB, we will stay at the Hotel Paviillon.

  Very nice accomodation

  We stayed here with a small group. The rooms were clean and spacious, the bathrooms clean and the service was excellent. The ventilation in the bathroom was subpar or non-existent. The restaurant was very good. The location was a bit farther from the center of town, but there is a small market across the street which made the location convenient.

  Excelente opción en Courmayeur

  El hotel está perfectamente situado, a pocos pasos del teleférico de acceso a la estación, y también muy cerca andando del centro histórico (pero lo suficientemente lejos para que no moleste el ruido de los bares de noche). Un poco anticuado ya, pero se mantiene en muy buen estado por las excelentes calidades y tiene un encanto especial. Habitación limpia y espaciosa, con un balcón con bonitas vistas a la montaña. Muy buen desayuno, en una sala de comedor amplia con estructura de madera e impresionantes vistas a la montaña. Servicio impecable, con camareros muy atentos y profesionales. Excelente personal de recepción también. Impresionantes la piscina y el spa; se agradece mucho tras un día de esquí y realmente es un espacio muy bonito con vistas al exterior y una piscina suficientemente grande para nadar un poco. Muy acogedores los amplios salones comunes, con chimenea y un pequeño bar inglés donde preparan excelentes cocktails. Muy recomendable.

  A family owned gem in the heart of Courmayeur

  Lovely stay at the Hotel Pavillon. Flexible and kind staff that was very present in every little detail. The food was traditional with a selection of salads and alternatives for vegetarians and fish eaters. The hotel didnt have a modern infrastructure but the customer service, cleanliness and friendliness made up for it. Thank you Courmayeur, Gracie Mille Hotel Pavillon! Ci vediamo pronto!   Excellent and friendly place

  We stayed there for 2 nights. It is an amazing hotel with all the amenities and the most friendly staff. The breakfast was superb and delicious served by the very hospitable staff. The room was nice and clean with a beautiful view from the balcony. The swimming pool and jacuzzi are also clean and beautiful.
