  el apartamento muy bien, la situación no tanto...

  Llegamos al Mantra Pavillions sobre las 6 de la tarde, y ya no había nadie en recepción, por lo que llamamos, y enseguida nos indicaron donde nos habían dejado las llaves, con un plano de cual era nuestro apartamento y como llegar al parking. Nos dijeron que el check-in lo podiamos hacer por la mañana. Tiene un parking subterraneo cerrado, al que solo puedes entrar con un mando que te proporcionan con el resto de llaves, y desde este parking se accede en ascensor a los bloques de apartamentos. El apartamento era enorme, muy limpio, con una cocina totalmente equipada, con microondas, nevera, horno, tostadora, etc y todo lo que puedas necesitar para cocinar, como vajilla, vasos, cubiertos, cacerolas, etc, un salon-comedor muy amplio, una habitación (con una cama no muy cómoda), un armario-vestidor, y un baño enorme con jacuzzi y ducha. En la parte trasera, había además otro baño con ducha, y un cuarto con una lavadora y una secadora. Tenía una terraza también bastante grande, con una pequeña barbacoa. Todo el mobiliario del apartamento estaba en perfectas condiciones, bastante moderno. La chica de la recepción fue muy amable, muy simpática, y nos ayudó siempre en todo. La piscina estupenda y poco concurrida. Y la playa está al lado de los bloques de apartamentos. El único defecto es que no está en el pueblo, y para ir a cualquier sitio tienes que coger el coche, porque andando está bastante lejos. Está en una urbanización entre Agnes Water y 1770, pero está más cerca de Agnes Water, y alli tienes todo lo que puedas necesitar: gasolinera, supermercados, restaurantes, etc.

  Brilliant.

  We could not fault this accommodation. The manager was very helpful with anything we needed to know about the area and facilities. Rooms are huge and everything was spotless. After a long lockdown in Melbourne this was paradise for us and the choice of two sparking pools made it a clear winner. I have worked in hospitality and tourism for over 40 years and this is accommodation I will be telling people about.

  Pavillions at 1770 is awesome. A wonderful resort, great pools for the kids. Right on the beach. Sam on the front desk is fantastic, super friendly, highly knowledgeable and a delightful person. I highly recommend this resort, I will definitely be going back there.

  Mouldy room

  On the 8-11th of february i recently stayed there with my family. Upon first looking at the apartment I was impressed with the size of it and convenience. However upon closer look it was not kept well at all and extremely disappointing given the price we paid of over $200 per night. The curtains (which my two year old was hiding behind) with a closer look i realised they were covered front and back head to toe in MOULD, not only is this a health hazard to your guests but also should've been taken care of a LONG time ago. Upon closer look at the rest of the apartment I noticed mould around the air vents (quality air control right there!!) not to mention the inch or more thick of dust in the vents. there was mould on some of the pictures. The kettle literally had a hole in the inside of it from rust (clearly it's never checked). When i mentioned the curtains and air vent mould to reception, she ignored the air vents but said they would come and clean the curtains, i stated they would need more than cleaning given their state they would have to most likely be replaced. She said they would have a look. That afternoon when we came back to our apartment the curtains were gone as expected. By 6pm no one had come back to put them back up, I then called the contact number via bookings.com and spoke to a lady in victoria she said she would contact management and get back to me. She called back to say reception said she told me they wouldn't be back for the rest of our stay, this conversation never existed. As stated before i have a two year old and i need curtains on the windows for her to get somewhat of a decent sleep. My husband called back and expressed how upset he was about it, we ended up speaking to one of the maintenance guys and he was super nice, he said he told reception they had to go to gladstone to be cleaned and to tell us (this was never communicated) the best he could do was offer us blankets (yes blankets) to hang on the window to block out the light, for over $200 a night we had to duct tape blankets to the windows originally covered in mouldy curtains, as you can understand this is why i'm writing you this email. The management team called the next day and my husband spoke to her, she stated they had not long taken over management. As someone currently studying travel and tourism, I feel as if your customers' health should be your number one and you should make sure every room is up to the standard. It would be ignorance to ignore those curtains that were VERY clear they were mouldy all over. Also sent them this a week ago or more and still no response

  Would NOT recommend

  Location great, layout great, parking great,lap pool good, access great.- that's where it ends. Our room had a tiny bed (probably a double) and was completely grotty. The carpet was so horrible we didn't want to walk in barefeet on it - it was so so old and almost matted, FULL of stains everywhere! The dishes in the cupboards weren't washed properly. The couches were the worst thing of this apartment. They were so badly stained, we couldnt sit on them - covered from top to bottom in stains, so so grubby and gross - we had to use spare towels and lay them over the couch cushions to be able to use it. The bedside lampshades full of dust and mould. Just gross. NOT good enough!
