  Believe all the good reviews!

  It is very difficult to find anything new to add to all the previously good reviews about the hotel. It is a super family-run establishment in a village setting - we enjoyed watching the geese from the restaurant. The bedroom was light & modern, and had been recently refurbished. Following guest comments, we booked Half Board on both nights and were more than pleased with every aspect of our meals. We definitely didn't want to return to Husum to look for eating places as we had had our fill earlier in the day going from place to place; having fallen foul of the '2pm rule!' The hotel delivered on almost every aspect (a small disappointment was that, although our room was serviced during our two-night stay, our beds were not actually touched or 'made.') But that doesn't detract from our whole-hearted desire to award 5 stars. And what great value too!

  Nice hotel, beautiful surroundings and opportunities for excursions and cycling, lovely restaurant and food, and nice rooms. A hotel with a cozy atmosphere both inside and out with its location in a small village.

  The absolute CLEANEST Hotel ever visisted:-)

  We went to Paulsens Landhotel in Bohmstedt (12 km from Husum) for 3 days to have some nice biking tours. It was the first time we were there and as the 'package' (3 days including ½ pension), was VERY cheep, I admit we did not expected half the quality level that we actually experienced. EVERYTHING at this Hotel was not less than 100% PERFECT. The hotel room are big, well equiped, very light and recently refurbished - and one of the most important issue is the fact that ...'you could eat your food directly from the floor/carpet'...We have been visiting lots of nice and clean hotels, but nothing compared to this what concernes CLEANING - and we will for sure come back some other time(s). The service from receptionist and waitrs were also outstanding. Do I need to tell, that the breakfast every morning as well as dinner every evening was 100% perfect too! NOT ONE single negative 'thing' is to say about this hotel and restaurant, everything is absolutely PERFECT.We really enjoyed our stay - and the nice biking tours ind the beautiful surroundings. Thank you very much - we will be back next year:-)

  A peaceful place with lots of charme

  We were looking for a place on our way back home from Sweden to use as a stop over to break up the travelling. What we found is a new favourite place to stay for a vacation. Spacious bright rooms, very clean and cosy. The rooms on the ground floor even have a little terrace. The bathrooms had a shower which we prefer over a bathtub, perfect. The restaurant belonging to the hotel has a very high standard and great value for money. And last but not least the very friendly and helpful staff. This place is ideal to explore Nordfriesland. We will be back soon for sure.

  Nice place to stay to travel the area

  Very clean and local designed hotel. Frendly stuff. Very good breakfast. No problem with late entrance and night in-out. No service in English at restaurant. If you sensitive to rooster calls- be careful with your room view. Not relevant if you sleep with closed windows. If there is a celebration at the restaurant there is a chance of parking shortness , we found one without involving the stuff.
