  Comfortable, very reasonably priced

  Its a little bit far from the city proper but the bed are very comfortable with clean bathroom. Price is inclusive of breakfast. Hotel is nothing fancy but very clean and neat. There is a convenient store right across the street. Though there is no restaurant that is open in the area after 9:30pm.

  Value?

  From the previous review, I guessed that they are mostly Lao Wai and does not travel much around China. This is an over value business hotel located in the new Financial Center of Foshan (US$70/ night). No cereals for breakfast and for the Lao Wai you have to be contended with toast, butter and fired eggs. Room is big and clean but there are a couple of missteps : 1) no toothbrush or comb or cotton buds provided. My friend complained that the housekeeping forgotten to put toilet paper!!! 2) the disposable bed room slippers is not free 3) there is no tray holder in the shower area. You have to put your personal bar of soap and shampoo bottle on the floor.

  Nondescript Hotel next to the Police Station

  My stay there was seamless. It's not a luxury hotel, nor is it a quaint boutique hotel, but the service was strong, and my room was large, quiet, and clean with fast WiFi. It's tucked away off the main streets of Guicheng, Nanhai District, but it's easy to get to via car and/or public transportation. There are a lot of small, local restaurants nearby. It's not a touristy area. The breakfast buffet was pretty good, nothing exceptional.

  Overpriced Business Hotel

  The location of this hotel is good ... right in the financial district, which is the only reason I have stayed here many times. The service is good, but the hotel is overpriced, compared to similar hotels in other parts of China. Even right there in Foshan, you can find a far superior hotel for that price. One of the nicest things about this hotel is that one of the best spas in Foshan is located within its premises, although managed by a separate entity. I recommend if you need to stay near the financial center.

  Very impressed!

  This hotel feels luxurious and opulent and yet the rate is excellent. When one walks into the reception, you feel like you have stepped into another world where you immediately feel at home with a welcoming hot tea and a friendly front desk staff member ready to help (even if in her limited English). The sound of the water feature in the reception area where the koi fish lazily move around, bring instant relaxation to mind. Once we walked into our room, we were very impressed as the room is spacious with large bed, desk, relaxing chair with ottoman with en suite full bathroom including a bath tub and shower. This hotel seems to have thought of everything that a weary traveller may need from a mini fridge, kettle with tea and coffee options, a tea set, refreshments, hairdryer, bath robes, toiletries (including toothpaste, toothbrushes and many other welcoming touches). The hotel is in a great location and within walking distance to Poly Canal Plaza (Mall). The hotel is on a busy road but the room itself was very quiet and conducive to a good nights sleep. There is a free breakfast included which offers noodles, vegetables, refreshments, fruit and slices of bread. There is very little English within the hotel but one can get by with sign language or a cell phone translator.
