  Great Hotel For Skiers

  Located just across the road from the Parsennbahn which takes you quickly up the mountain, this hotel is an ideal place for skiers. Added benefits include the friendly staff, good breakfast, close proximity to the railway station, ski rental shops and bus stops. Can't ask for more.

  Enjoyable stay

  The hotel is a 3 star and you can see that by the size of the rooms. Breakfast was not the richest but good enough, coffee could be better ;). Could be also due to the fact that we have been in the summer and not in the winter when the high season is. The staff is really nice and very helpful. Despite all the "1 review" users that rated the hotel, the place is nice, clean and with friendly staff. The restaurant is closed during summer, but there are a coupel of places around with decent food :)

  Hans is the Roberto Bannini of hotel owners

  This is a charming family run hotel. It is clean, food is excellent and the staff are a lot of fun. The restaurant and bar are frequented by locals which speaks to the authenticity of the place. One draw, is the owner Hans Fopp. A talented chef, light hearted and charming host, he keeps the place hopping. Probably his wife Martina keeps it running but the combination is fabulous. I have been staying for about 6 years and I enjoy that it is immediately across the street from Parsenn Bahn and a bus stop. Free parking, very convenient and wonderful hospitality.

  Very convenient hotel right next to Parsenn lift

  We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is ideally located right next to the Parseen lift, prime location for skiers. There are two supermarkets, shops, etc. nearby. The check-in and staff were very nice. The hotel building is old, but well maintained with many photos from Davos' past. My room on the top floor was large, quiet, and comfortable, some would characterise it as "rustic", but all worked. The bathroom was clean, albeit of another generation. The quality of the breakfast was good. The hotel has a good restaurant and a good and lively apres-ski bar with great staff. Parking at the back of the hotel is limited. We would certainly return to this hotel for our next ski vacation as it is really great value for money and I appreciated the friendly staff.

  Really, 50 years old rooms and counting

  Perfect location and clean. But$250 for a super-dated room? The hotel world has moved on. Unless you are on a history mission, go to one of the chains, if you want to go to ski in Davos at all. The Swiss have missed the hospitality world completely. Park City, Breckinridge and Telluride- different story and less money. See you there.
