  La comida es lo mejor, lo demás muy regular

  El hotel está lejos del centro, pero se puede tomar el autobús 1 desde la estación del tren que cuesta poco y te deja delante del hotel (parado Parkside Rd). Lo mejor del hotel: la comida, la cena era buena y el desayuno tampoco está mal. Ofrecen el desayuno ingles como el continental (te preparan tostadas). El resto es bastante regular, se ve todo viejo y gastado, le hace falta una reforma en general. Tuve la habitación en la planta baja. La cama sin embargo era muy cómoda y la habitación tenía mucho espacio. En general, elegiría otro hotel para la próxima vez.

  Cheap and clean

  I paid £58 for a room on a Saturday night via booking.com Room was clean an tidy, breakfast was great. Staff were very friendly. Thats the positives. The negatives are that the exterior of the property is not inviting, common areas need updating. I would bring a significant other here but ideal for a work stop over or a night out with friends.

  Nice hotel on the edge of the city

  Firstly, this hotel isn't in the centre of Reading. It's roughly 2 miles from the train station. There is a bus stop outside and a taxi is about £7.40. I stayed because I was attending a festival in Prospect Park next door so it was the perfect location. The park was in walking distance. If you are attending events in there be warned that there's no lighting so coming back across the (occasionally) rough terrain was a little laborious. The hotel itself is an interesting place. It looks as though it may have been converted from another business into its current incarnation. The front is nice but you appear to be entering into what was originally the first floor. The lift kind of gives that away from the buttons jump from ground to second floor. If you look through the grills in the car park you can see what was probably once the original ground floor (now listed as the basement). The hotel was clean and, for me, quiet. My room was a little difficult to find as the numbers jumped. It took a moment but my room (on the second floor) was beside a linen room. Very sunny room and the staff had left a fan in there. The bathroom was nice and there were plenty of toiletries. The only complaint was that the sink was blocked and took a while to drain. The shower was gloriously powerful and I made sure to enjoy that! The room had all the usual bits and pieces; hairdryer, TV, tea and coffee. Tea and coffee was in the desk cupboard. The bed was a little on the hard side and I found myself waking up at 4.30am. Breakfast was nice and included in the price. A cooked breakfast after a night of losing your voice singing was very welcome! The dining room was also fairly empty, which was also a blessing. The staff were friendly and helpful and provided information on buses and taxis, especially as I was leaving on a Sunday. Overall, a pleasant stay and would stay again.

  I am confused why? Well surprised how good it was

  Ok a Business meeting and overnight stay, Parking great, Staff so helpful but not always getting what you ask first time but so friendly. Breakfast was great and also was better than many Hotels twice the price. Room basic and very clean any problems yes my bath the plug got stuck. Staff sorted it out no problem. Evening meal good however Bar Prices slightly high.

  Experience in Reading!!

  It was a very nice experience...and I truly recomand this hotel!! The hotel staff was awsome..and the room was perfect!! The person from the reception...was really good and was a pleasure for me being un this hotel!!
