  Please dont!

  Alright if travelling light and for one night, but it raises huge safety and health issues. Some (large) front windows dont lock, the showers need to be condemned, the curtains stain-cringy and some keys actually open other apartments!! The only 'nice' thing about this place is the big park down the road...1/10

  Horror motel stay..

  We had the most horrible stay ever .. The room was so dirty i felt ill sitting or lying down. We got there at 8 the manager finally fixed the tv and left about 9:30. So we missed getting tea. I had 3 kids and myself a tiny woman and we were given a apartment house only one in the yard and had creepy men walking round the yard.. I had to ring the police. The hotel owner is refusing to speak to me. Whenever i ring i get called that one. I paid 220 for this appalling service. The blankets stunk. The curtains had globby stains on them. The furniture was hard rubbish. The shower floor was sticky and slimy. Paint peeling above the shower freezing cold with heater full on. Breezes all through the house. Refuse to talk to me think i have no rights and i will go away.. I am ringing consumer affairs today.

  AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

  If I could give this place a 0 I would!! We rented a family suite which sleeps up to 6. While the suite was spacious thats about where the positives end. I walked in and immediately wanted to walk out again! This place was disgusting! The interior was extremely outdated, there were tiles missing off the kitchen floor, and there was a musty odour. There were food scraps, dirt and dust all over the kitchen benches and draws, the windows were filthy, and there was mould throughout the bathroom. The kitchen was definitely in need of replacement, I would not have cooked one meal in it! The aircon in the master bedroom was missing the filter, and looked ancient. I didnt even look at the beds!! This is definitely not an environment I wanted my children in. We ended up checking out and staying elsewhere, the thought of having to spend any time in that place made me feel physically ill. This has taught my hubby a valuable lesson, always read reviews on trip advisor before booking!! I wish I had of gotten photos as proof, but I did not want to spend any more time in that horrid place.

  Great value for money

  OK it has not good reviews and looks pretty shabby outside. But this place was very pleasant to stay at. $90 for a night and the bed was comfy, very quiet, big spacy room (no 5), very clean, great modern look with appliances, situated in good location. Service on check in was very friendly. Plenty of secure parking. Definitely stay again. Only negative was the water pressure was so slow. That's all

  OK for one night only and only then, if you need to visit La Trobe Uni

  I've given a rating of 2 for the location close to La Trobe Uni and for the convenience of public transport to the city. If rating the hotel itself, maybe a 1 because the bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was good. We only stayed because we had pre-paid and on arrival we wished we hadn't. The bathroom - ick! Good water pressure but shut your eyes and pretend you're somewhere else.
